I've been to two games at Elland Road this season, Everton and Watford. On both occasions when the players took a knee, the small number of people that booed were quickly drowned out by a huge round of applause. As most of the people on this thread lean towards the right, anti woke and all that (whatever that even is) I was just wondering how it feels to be in the minority and surrounded by woke ****s like me at Elland Road ? It's a serious question by the way I'm genuinely interested. And is the reaction different in different parts of the stadium (I've been in East stand upper this season, usually like to be in the wedge but frankly I'm just happy to get a ticket anywhere these days) ?
if they have relented on the decision they must have deemed it wrong or perhaps they thought twice about the money they would be missing over f all......where you get i was offended is beyond me, more how stupid can these organizations get with there decisions, these lads had been doing it for years and suddenly it might offend someone................stop clutching your red flag
Which part of the ground were you in Dirty, the woke.. sorry West stand, because in the southstand it was quite the opposite and it was definitely the opposite in my last game I went to in the gallowgate end at Newcastle, may be different now though for the raghead Barcodes they may be all for this virtue signalling bullshit
they where told by st richards that the choice of attire could be offensive to the lgbt community, so the lads have decided to pick another charity....they haven't been banned from fundraising in general obviously, i thought that was obvious but to say i spouted that they had shows you didn't understand the story....dressing up in women's clothes to raise money for a hospice, deemed wrong by said hospice, seems like foot in mouth
I merely quoted you saying they’d been banned from fund raising. How did I get that wrong exactly ? For the record I don’t have any problem with what those lads do and think it’s overkill for them to be “banned” (even though they haven’t been).
You said the hospice had apologised.....what for if they hadn't banned them, at the end it's a bleeding disgrace for the hospice to even comment on the lads....some over eager manager trying to sound "in" on the current offensive diatribe, good luck lads with your new chosen charity, pearls and all
Probably a lot of the supporters in ER nowadays are just a lot of glory hunting jump on the bandwagoners and probably don't know what taking the knee really is and the same one's who will jump ship if we get relegated. Not fact granted, but just my opinion.
The hospice said they wouldn’t put the picture of them in drag on their website. They didn’t ban them from fund raising. And they later apologised for that decision. It’s the lads themselves who decided to help out another charity as far as I can see. Anyway, I’ve got to go, the missus is dragging me down to the pub.
Don't waste your bleeding time trying to converse with these morons, unless of course you happen to be a fellow moron, in which case fill your boots you're amongst friends here. There job done, nothing left to learn. Happy to help, now I'll leave you all to wallow in the afterglow of my presence on your crappy little self indulgent thread
Turn of that bloody afterglow.... it's boiling in here, these little threads don't half throw out some heat
