He ran and hid because he knew he had instigated something that could only possibly end badly.

I agree he’s a coward. But he isn’t stupid - he just misjudged the mood of the electorate.

A fence post would have done a better job. But even a diplomatic genius couldn’t have done a good job in the circumstances

Not only is she about as far from being a statesman as possible, her choice of ministers has been appalling. Johnson - probably the worst foreign secretary in anybody’s living memory. Davis, who as Brexit minister did absolutely nothing apart from fail to even have a basic comprehension of the task in front of him, and alienate the EU even further. He’s now been replaced by Raab - who’s barely an improvement. Then how is Grayling in any sort of ministerial position? His incompetence is spectacular, as he continues to **** up every mandate he’s been given.

    A fence post indeed!

The machine or house has a 2.8% edge on the punter every spin, the machines are not rigged they don't need to be and the Gambling commission wouldn't allow it .

A large chunk of the blame can be put on Cameron for that.

Usually when a party is in opposition their shadow cabinet is a combination of the leader's inner circle in some roles while others are filled with a combination of reliable old hands and one or two from other factions within the party, so the leader can claim "See? I've brought the party together" and, in the event of winning a General Election, the initial cabinet remains along these lines. However, if the party gains a second term in power, the old hands and those from other factions are shuffled out in favour of more of the leader's inner circle, and in the event of winning a third term the party starts to resemble Invasion of the Body Snatchers as you could count people in the cabinet who aren't in the leader's inner circle on one hand. This is what happened under both Blair and Thatcher.

Yet when Cameron was Leader of the Opposition his shadow cabinet was already firmly in Body Snatchers territory, for example
    Shadow Chancellor - George Osborne
Shadow Home Secretary - Chris Grayling
Shadow foreign Secretary - William Hague
Shadow Justice Secretary - Dominic Grieve
Shadow Education Secretary - Michael Gove
Shadow Defence Secretary - Liam Fox
Shadow Work & Pensions - Theresa May
Shadow Culture, Media & Sport - Jeremy ...Hunt
Shadow Treasury Secretary - Phillip Hammond

With that amount of dross in a shadow cabinet, it's no wonder once the Tories were in power it didn't look so bizarre when egotistical chancers like Boris Johnson, clueless sociopaths like Iain Duncan Smith or drunks like David Davies were able to walk into ministerial roles without too much complaint, because they fit right in

Arron Banks is getting a platform on the Marr show this morning. Given that he’s currently under investigation by the NCA and now also the FCA, it surely can’t be right for the BBC to give this bloke airtime?

Yet more BBC pro Brexit bias

The Tories utterly corrupted the BBC in the last few years. It's a no lose for them.
They either get a free platform for their bullshit or people kick off about it and they privatise it. The ****s.

To be fair Marr didn’t give him an easy time. Banks was very obviously lying. Hopefully the **** ends up sharing a cell with a meathead who calls him Alisa and uses him to clean his cock.

Marr didn't have a clue what was going on and Banks still managed to repeatedly contradict himself and his previous statements.
It's disturbing how many people are fooled by such an obvious charlatan, though.
Marr's currently trending heavily with Russian trolls, so I guess it's job done.

Did Banks say his company made £250m revenue and then changed that to £25m? I was still half asleep.

I was expecting the rabidly pro Brexit Marr to sit back and let Banks just reel off a list of excuses but he did keep asking where the money came from which Banks couldn’t answer. Marr should have asked him why he lied about meeting the Russian ambassador.

Hundreds of extra police officers will be on the beat after four fatal stabbings in five days in London.

Metropolitan Police Commander Stuart Cundy said the plan followed a "terrible" few days in the capital - which has seen a total of 118 murders so far this year.
