Interesting. Michael Gove anyone? Cocaine use, in the Commons being investigated. https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/p...tMGnXfPzkdlSnQSe4q2P1IIUR8bRN0gIwzIK1xtMueZqA
Prime Minister planning to introduce new legislation which will enable him to decide the outcome of elections. You heard it here first.
Nothing surprises me now, about politics. When a staunch Tory, Ken Clarke, is quoted as saying that we are edging ever closer to an elected dictatorship, you know something ain’t right.
It is a criminal offence to impersonate a police officer. He must have loved this and seen it as his very own Sidney Street Siege moment. He impersonated Churchill with his paint and easel dressed in his smock and now he imitates him again by joining a police raid. Look out for the Home Secretary claiming that police recruitment is up based on this event.
The sad thing is that even if they were prosecuted, the government is currently putting together laws that will allow them to overrule judicial decisions. They say there are 14 characteristics of Fascism and, by my reckoning, this shower of **** government have embraced most of them.
At least Churchill didn't dress up in police garb when he attended the The Sidney Street Siege. please log in to view this image
There is something deeply psychologically disturbing about Spaffer pretending to be his hero. That is what children do in the playground not grown up adults FFS. please log in to view this image
Good luck trying to enforce any restrictions on the public if needed now. Imagine the government trying to restrict household numbers this Christmas now. Most people will totally ignore them now, myself included. They simply cannot expect the public to make anymore sacrifices.
Yep even as one of probably the most compliant people i am with you. The hoops that my daughter and grandkids are going through just to come here on Friday from the US are amazing. She had to remind the person she was speaking to at Delta that she (and the kids) were UK citizens a few times as she was treating her as a US person. They even suggested that the trip may not be strictly necessary and maybe think about delaying it. Her US husband is coming a week later - I think he will have worse issues. I am picking her up, she has had a pre departure PCR, and is having the other one at Heathrow with the results by Saturday. But I suppose at least i get to see my loved ones, even if it has been 3 years now.
Now there's an expectation that the government are going to introduce more covid restrictions today. They can go **** themselves. I'm done with their rules now.
They are doing what all Tory Govenments have done throughout my lifetime, take the piss out of the British public.
This is hopefully Bojo the Clown's poll tax, Iraq War or banking crisis moment in the minds of the electorate.
