should not have been frigging played in the first place wait till you come back for the return game, we are and will be the best team in this league, johnson makes some daft team selections such as Bailey wright in defence, no mcgeady and a joke pitch.

I hope you had better weather in Devon Woops!
What a great result.! Firstly I must put my hand up as being one of those that expected some changes selection wise so I must acknowledge Cowley's courage keeping an unchanged side.
Pompey struck exactly the right blend of football and 'prudent hoof ball' for the conditions. Pleasingly the excellent goals derived from the football component of their game. Marquis's first half goal and assist were both excellent.
The unsuccessful half time attempts to get the game abandoned by the Sunderland manager and players, appeared to give the away side a negative attitude for the last 45 minutes which helped Pompey consolidate their win.

Yes pdu, the weather down in the south west was pretty decent, apart from the trip home, when it was torrential rain for the entire journey !!

My mood lightened however when we parked up, and I listened to the radio coverage of the game. What a brilliant performance and result for the lads. Well deserved. Some excellent performances from Marquis, Raggett, Harness and Morrell in particular.

Well played and well deserved win. We were poor in performance and attitude.
Of course the pitch and conditions were the same for both teams but it affected our style of play more in my opinion. If it was 0-0 at half time I think the game would have been abandoned.
I expect Portsmouth to kick on now and finish around 4th or 5th but still think we will go up automatically.
