Google what? Single Mum in need? Could you not save me the job of trawling through millions search results, most of which would probably be niche dating ads?

From past experience my efforts at buying tickets for 'fans' who have made it know through the media that they would love to go to City but cannot afford it have always backfired. Back in the day, BP days, when crowds were low Radio Humberside were doing something about City and this fella rang in saying he would love to go with his lad etc etc etc, lost his job, etc and it's just too expensive for him. I rang the show off air and got this fella's private number and contacted him offering to take him and his lad to the next home game. I'd pick them up and bring them home again, I'd provide the tickets too obviously. His reply ? 'Thanks pal but I'm not that bothered, I was just having a moan about City'. Another time a customer of mine was always saying he cannot afford to take his 10 yr old lad to a game. So I bought him a couple of tickets and posted them through his front door the day before the game, no big deal. He brought them back on the Monday unused and said his lad didn't want to go. I have several similar stories like that.
I do know that Ehab once contacted a family of City fans after a similar sob story in the media and paid for them to go to a game in London, travel, hotel and tickets. They went but didn't have the decency to say thank you.
But if anyone genuinely cannot afford the £10 to pay to stream a City game I will join Omega Man, Steve toast and DMD in offering to help out.

Absolutely True. But this is talking about it now in the current climate with lots of clubs running the risk of going to the wall. so doing the I follow is a way of helping your club out
Pompey had an advert on yesterday saying
Support your local team not an illegal stream! Use I follow
That’s what we’re talking about in this particular situation

Does your source of fixtures/results show how Man City & Derby County got on in their final fixtures of the season by any chance ?

If it's a link to a stream for the next game, can you send me it too?

Well as I haven't kept a link to it and don't use a browser that keeps track of everything I have done how do you expect me to get hold of one? Oh yes, Google it. There is another way which could be shorter. But obviously us old farts less tech savvy and aware than the younger generation wouldn't think of that. I hope you teach your pupils to show a bit more initiative.

Well normal procedure is to give them a copy of what I’m talking about. We’d be there all day if they had to Google everything.
I wasn’t asking the Earth, just a link to what you were talking about. As doing so is clearly a bother, don’t worry about it.

I don't have a link so would have to look up thecarticle and dig it out to send you a link to it.So you want me to go to the bother of doing something which is too much bother for you? I am an old fogey, not one of these brighter young things who are tech savvy with the world at their finger tips. Should be a doddle for you.

It’s short for “family”. It’s a term commonly used in inner cities to refer to one’s friends.

How down with the cool cats. Do you live and teach in an inner city?

I used to live in a large city. I teach in Hull, not sure that counts.

That lad Moore from Oxford must have had a blinder to keep Alfie Jones out. He was immense yesterday. And putting Long in the team suggests he had a lot to do. Although he did everything he had to do very well.
