3 off us at work this morning said the same, it's been a long time since it felt this good supporting SAFC. Acknowledging its 3rd tier football it doesn't matter if your feeling positive and buzzing.

If Jackett is saying the defender would have stopped Wyke scoring if he'd been there to challenge for the cross, maybe he should ask the defender why instead of doing that he made a decision to bear hug O9. Even if the ''obstructing'' O9 had tried to move to stop 'obstructing' . the defenders' reaction would have been to hold even tighter prevent him doing so, and so would still not have attended to Wyke.

Pompey fans crying that it should have been a foul in the build up to the second. They literally had a throw in after <laugh><laugh> not like we went on the counter and scored.

Was an absolute bullet header for Charlie mind.

I have genuinely gone from ‘is he good enough’ to ‘he’d bag a few in the Championship’.

The job the coaching staff have done on him is magnificent.

Mind, him staying fit a big part, he’s a big lad and he’s stayed lean without a break.

1st one is a long shot. LoL

2nd one we can relate too from recent past.

You can rest easy on the third, poor Bristol lumped with him.

    How about Daniel Stendel ?

Can't get the extended highlights anywhere, is this because Sky showed it and aren't allowing 90 minutes highlights to be shown.?

    cheers again RTB... (forgot earlier)

just watched the highlights, first penalty shout was obvious dive, even at full pelt i did not think he was near him, second one could have been given.

first goal, i think the defender got his instructions wrong...i think he was told to grab the number nine and he read the team sheet and went for o'nien.

says summit though when the best two 'chances' for the home side were two hopeful penalty shouts and nowt else on target.

Mad isn’t it!! They hit the ball straight back after that foul. It probably was a foul, but, when you get the ball and pass it to our winger, don’t go back and blame the foul!! It was a poor pass, poor touch, great pressing and a tremendous finish!!

Always wondered what “might have been” for him if he wasn’t put out for most of a season with one of the worst fouls you’ll see (which wasn’t given as a foul btw!!!)

Always thought he’d be ok at this level. Scored at other clubs and proving that now. Only this last few months have I thought the same as you on the championship!!

Never thought I would see a Sunderland player score 21 goals in less than a season, no matter what league we would be in. Wonder how much his value has gone up cos at the start of the season I would not have been upset if we let him go on a free.
