A lot of their home ones were OK and "safe". Their away kits were "brave" and tended to roam into the love it or hate it territory. Which shirt maker made the swimming pool camouflage kit? I quite liked that one. Was that Warrior or Nike... Years all blend into each other now.
I think they were trying to appeal to the yoooth being edgy. Old man shirt would mean they missed their mark.
Ok googled it... Swimming pool camouflage kit was the first Nike away kit. 20/21 New Balance in 17/18 was excellent probably our best year in the last decade. That's when we had the orange kit and the green and white quarters to pick from on the road. Home was a standard red kit with a v neck and a white border around the v neck. All in all 17/18 was a good year for kits.
the home.kid.was good it made the team look like athletes. the orange kit was great for seeing the other players any kit that is hard to pick out in a stadium like greys and greens should.be insta banned imo. I knows it's all money but they will sell more kits with trophies than they will with changing colours
Who played in Red and yellow to make the requirement for the 3rd kit ? Or was it red and white with yellow being 3rd And even then why not just have red and yellow ?
nobody. it was done by man utd first in the 1990s and then.adopted by all it's a 3rd kit "for europe" like as if somehow playing 3 other teams.in a group means neither of your two kits are in any way useful. it was done to increase shirt sales and frankly is largely targeting people who wear kit with jeans. the colours often are more suited to wearing in the street than playing football
But couldn’t we just play in our red kit if they are yellow ? I always saw it as 1st kit 2nd kit Alternate Kit Sorry for babbling Got a bit of a game today so trying to keep my mind on other things lmao even unblocked the I end on the bathroom sink Which was grim btw !!!!
We rarely played in white. Only teams I can think of in red and yellow (similar at least) is Galatasaray and Bradford City.
it's home kits at home only. away kit away only. (no real reason) and no part of the kit can be similar in any way in case a ref sends the wrong sub off or whatever stupid reason say your team has a red hoop on the top of socks. I can't wera red socks. your team has white shorts with a red stripe. I can't wear red. and so forth. obviously someone like Leeds are ****ed the second a side has any sort of white stripe, hoop or band on the kit.
