A spice stew is exactly what it is. There no difference in how you make a stew and a curry apart from the ingredients! I get that you have to keep up the pretence of being the angriest idiot on Not606 Drew but its Sunday, take the day off.
Do think even irrational people would eat boiled socks full of muesli. They probably would make uninformed, ridiculous comparisons to things that make no sense though.
Got a couple of her books, everything from scratch, just about: https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/search?chefs=madhur_jaffrey
The first recipe I looked at! Making your own Thai red curry paste takes time, but you'll be astonished at the difference. Leftover paste will keep in the fridge for about three weeks.
Most curry's start from paste, if you have a handy mortar and pestle and fancy making your own paste then good for you but there are various excellent curry pastes on the market these days. Do fancy trying this though. https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/lambshanksbraisedina_91037
Most recipes I've seen don't involve a paste but this one from Nadiya does and you can use this home made paste with anything meat or veg for a simple easy curry: https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/lamb_bhuna_with_garlic_27184 I've got a little spice grinder for making paste so much easier than the pestle and mortar: please log in to view this image
This curry argument has become so reasonable and civilised I have cc’d India and Pakistan into it so they can learn a thing or two. Bangladeshi Über Alles.
What a spastic you are. Have you ever been anywhere outside the Central belt? Condescending ignoramus. I suppose a stew is an unspicy curry God you are dense.
Yes I've been to Aberdeen . I found all the people there to be fùcking goons that know fùck all about anything. And they also smell like fish, stinky.
There's nothing good in Aberdeen. It's a horrible, cold grey place. Which goes a long way to explain ER's demeanour.
Proper scampi (Dublin bay prawns) in a light batter (not breadcrumbs) with proper chips and peas and a proper tartare sauce ...
We live long healthy lives in the North East unlike the Central Belt of Scotchland where the limited lifespan is determined by Class A Drugs, alcohol abuse (mostly Buckfast), a **** diet consisting mainly of kebabs, pizzas and Steak bakes and a ****ing awful climate where it pisses of rain all the time The only good thing about the Central Belt are the roads leading out of it to pure air and civilisation. The Central Belt reeks of death, decay and is populated with short arsed fat alcoholic junkies. Scotchland has the highest drug deaths rate per capita in the world, solely down to the Central Belt. In short, it is the arsehole of the UK.
