How nice it is to see some activity towards our next season even if it's only a couple of pre-season matches. What are the chances that Ashton Gate will see the possibility of a full house for the season opener based on the latest virus updates? I have been waiting for our season of change to finally arrive and here we are hoping it goes the way just about all of us want.

I can't see us getting a full house in the Championship unless we're pushing for promotion (I can dream!) towards the end of the season.
If we can maintain around the 20k level as an average home attendance I think we'll be doing ok under the circumstances.

Could we please change the name of our training ground to something more positive?

P.S. I just noticed that we will be entertaining Celtic in our pre-season - nice one City.

Why would you not hold this match at AG?

Could be the reason. Don’t it hold a few thousand there? Looking at it I can’t see that. So half to 3/4 empty AG with full stewarding v the training ground probably makes more sense. Plus they probably want to show it off.

    Robins add Grecians to pre-season
    Wednesday, June 2nd 2021

City has added Exeter City to its pre-season campaign.

The Robins travel to the Grecians’ training Cliff Hill training ground on Tuesday, July 27th (1pm KO).

Due to Covid-19 restrictions supporters will be unable able to attend but the game will be streamed live on Exeter City’s Youtube channel.

Later that day City will travel further south to face Plymouth Argyle at Home Park (6pm KO).

It remains unclear how many supporters will be able to attend City's pre-season fixtures due to pandemic restrictions, but the club will confirm details as soon as possible.

EXACTLY in these dark times without a splash of colour or a bit of light it can only get darker … even faint attempts at humour help, if only to humour the one that posts it ……

Which pub riverside or white hart, did you walk over Dundry or go down A38 and via Shipham

    the directors lived in posher places … once a month I used to visit 5 of them 2 on a Friday night 3 on a Saturday …….. 1 had a kitchen as big as my lounge dining room ! 25' x 20' [ mine ] ….Kitchen island was about 9' x 6'!

Probably the BA or even the Cider Barn (not far out of Cheddar on the Draycott road to the uninitiated!)
