wisdom is solid enough, big lad and if he can hold position he can help a lot from set piece. he is a cb for sure but he is also a guy that needs to work hard. when he did play for us we were more solid at the back but then rodgers decided he didn't fancy him and dumped him out. we then got worse at the back.

    unlucky that.

decent player I'd rate a bit higher than rossiter. (but not as high as teixteria)

You need less of a warm up if you're exercising in a warm environment. Lawro is a plank, but this isn't such a planky comment tbf

Two assists for tex is very goid news considering his injury. Think he can play a key role in the squad this year

You'd still need to prime the body, activate key muscle groups, raise heart rate etc. etc. An ex footballer suggesting prime footballers playing in a game which is almost purely for fitness shouldn't warm up is ridiculous.

on that showing lucas is toast. the level is so much higher than this and he was late and just slapping into guys as per. he should be dominating a side like this over 45mins even if first game.

Lambert is so bad if we let anyone see him again he is unsaleable. If i were heading into a prem campaign i'd not buy him even as bournemouth. he's just nowhere near up to it.

Toure is a bit rotund too. he had little to do though. keeping aorund for the laughs and giggles in the dressing room it seems.

After that... well teix looked ok at this level but we will see if thats enough to get a go at a higher level. Markovic started ok. ings was lively and gomez for me was quite good and athletic.

LEts see what second half shows us... origi needs to show quite a bit.

Mark Lawrensen needs to just retire from all forms activity. Just keep quiet and don't say a word.

    yup.

its not about warm or not warm its about activation. telling your muscles you are going to do work.

Understand but we can't be sentimental - we need to be ruthless, and the lad isn't good enough anymore. <ok>

Rodgers best dive for cover, as those gnashers will be like lightening conductors.
