    Spurs - since Alli isn't playing Aurier since he is always a fair bet for a red

    Seriously, he wouldn't have signed up without knowing there was a rebuilding job at Everton to be done.
    He will improve the Toffees in time, their business in the transfer market will be interesting (both in and out)

    Yeah, I remember Stan (God bless him, wherever he is) suggesting that as we'd lost three of our last four games before the lockdown (only one of them in the league), we'd struggle to put up a convincing argument that we'd actually get six points if the season was null and voided on current form: I had to point out that City lost 8 points out of their previous 15 points available.

    It has always amazed me that businessmen, who have made lots of money using their brains then seem to forget to use their brains once they own a football club. There are a few exceptions, but not many.
