Just think, if you hadn't been knocked out before the format changed you could have been in with a chance.
Pretty sure some of the teams left have already won something whilst still competing in the CL. Big teams go for all comps not just focus on one
tbh I think Citeh are the strong favourites. Would have said PSG but with mbappe out atm and it being unclear if he will be back in time for the SF, it really leaves it open for Citeh. Of course the likes of Barca, Bayern, A Madrid and RB can all still prove to be dangerous.

yup. Perversely, our form dipped after the new winter break that JK has been so vocal about....that game was always going to be tough but it came at a bad time in many ways!
Yep, it was the tie I didn't want. They play the style we struggle against and they're the best in the world at it.
Also didn't help that Allison was injured. But of course we only won the title because none of our players got injured
Three Reds shortlisted for Premier League Player of the Season Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson and Sadio Mane have been shortlisted for the Premier League Player of the Season award. The Liverpool trio take their place among the seven nominees for the annual accolade having helped the Reds win the title in 2019-20 with a club-record 99 points. Alexander-Arnold broke his own record for assists by a defender in a Premier League season by providing 13, as well as chipping in with four goals from right-back. Henderson, who was announced as the Football Writers’ Association’s Footballer of the Year last month, led the side to the title as captain and contributed four goals and five assists. Mane, meanwhile, plundered 18 goals across the Premier League season and set up a further seven for his teammates from the left flank of the front three. They are up against Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), Nick Pope (Burnley), Danny Ings (Southampton) and Jamie Vardy (Leicester City) for the award. Juve sack Sarri Got a feeling this might have something to do with losing to Lyon They've already lined up Pochettino apparently.
Interesting to see how he does. Bare minimum requirement is the title each year but he needs to do more than that to be considered a success.
