My intention didn't come across in my comment. I'm not saying one is wrong because it offended someone and the other one is alright because nobody was offended. I was commenting from the viewpoint the authorities took on both incidents and going by their responses I was being sarcastic in what I said. The FA completely missing the point ...... again. If it's wrong, it's wrong. A bit like referees giving a foul if a player falls over untouched versus not giving a foul if the player takes the knock and carries on playing without playacting.
How was Manuel Neuer given the nod over Alisson regarding world’s best goalkeeper at the FIFA awards?
Sheffield United 1:1 Manchester United think the Sheffield United keeper could have done better considering how close Rashford’s shot was to him.
Sheffield United 1:2 Manchester United Unless Sheffield United have a drastic turnaround, they’re going down. They either want to stay in the Premier league or are happy to carry on the way they are. What Wilder did last year for them is yesterday’s chip paper.
I just don't think they have the players to stay up, doesn't matter who's in charge. Its not like the players aren't trying for Wilder, its just that they don't have the quality to win games. They had a fantastic season last year, largely fueled by the excitment of being back in the PL, the fans pushing them on and alot of the PL teams not playing them before (scouting can only go so far as to what its like to play a team). Think they'll have to accept relegation this season and start looking at how they can bounce straight back.
As good as the movement and running was for that United goal, there’s no excuse for the keeper not to save Rashford’s shot
Wonder what the odds are on Wilder and Pulis being sacked at the same time and both Wednesday and United having no manager. Both clubs couldn't buy a win
In this context is all. How many times have we heard 2 black men calling each other the N word or the word is said in rap songs by black singers? If It was done in a non- offensive context and everyone accepts this was/is ok. when it is called in an argument or a dispute by a non black person to a black one, this name calling could obviously be deemed offensive. Suarez was deemed offensive by the FA. Cavani s IMO could still be deemed offensive too but he could escape if the guy he was addressing the remark said he meant it as an affectionate term and he wasn’t offended. Could be 50-50 but I suspect for their peace of mind the FA will go for a 3 match ban.
