It's a strange old season. For all the media sycophancy over City, they're still 14 points shy of where we were at this stage last season. Still, nobody else is going to get near them as we're all useless.
Utd are in the best position for 2nd, but they look so indifferent at times. I don't think Ollie knows what he's doing - he got lucky with Bruno but when he's not firing they're very ordinary.
To me, Ollie doesn't look like a man in control - he has the look of a man on a runaway horse who is surprised it happens to be going in the right direction.

 

Yeah but we were ridiculous last season. City can get 98 points if they win all 11 left.

Anything over 90 is a fabulous total. Just cost 100,98,99 were last 3 titles doesn't meant 90 is terrible.

Ans I agree on agent ole. I've seen him loads say there with o clue and his side have scraped a late result. They are best placed due to a handy amount of points when they had a run and that's to their credit as they keep going. But i could see them overhauled easily.

A lot of late results with pens or teams coughing up stupid goals have put them there. They have never looked amazing. They just looked fitter than others but agent ole knackers Fernandes again.

This Chelsea game is massive.

 

City are th biggest beneficiaries of no crowds, there is no pressure from the stands, no nervous tension to put them off, there is no geeing up or need to inspire for opposition teams. The lack of crowds allows robotic performances, training ground effectively put into practice. The best technicans can go about their business and that goes for the manager.

Also their massive squad (not just 11-16 players of PL quality) is best able to cope with the crammed season.

 

A flawless synopsis

 

City struggled earlier on this season when teams were mostly fully fit. As the season wore on, they were able to pull away as everyone else suffered more injuries and disruptions to their squad. City have a huge squad and are able to rotate with little drop in quality.

The CL spots are leicester, utd, cheslea (forget west ham, forget villa). we have to get back in there so I can't decide if we basolutely have to win or just can't afford them to take 3 points in a swing.
