I'd like them to cut of breaks a.bit sooner. I hate us letting teams break after a corner.

Looks like either half southgate's favourites are crocked or hes had a panic attack as he seems to be about to bottle the squad selection so is going to delay tomorrow and basically announced a provisional expanded 35man squad or so.

What's the betting he leaves trent out of 35 man squad?

Dont worry. They wont be in the final one as they will both get career ending injuries in first training sessions.

Is utd winning tomorrow a foregone conclusion because everything I'm reading sounds like they've already won it?

I don't think so. This is Unai Emerys speciality.

    No.

Without maguire they are even ****ter than with him. All panic and jitters.

With pogba you've a guy who can give up at any time and their forwards lack pace

So if villareal have a man who's won the thing a record number of times in charge and who has a better record than the man in charge of arsenal today then they have a shot

They are 7th in Spain so never discount a decent Spanish side but more than that they either win this or have to go into the conference league

Utd have Fernando's. That's it. Take him out and they are 7th in England no question

i have the feeling like you that they’ll come a cropper tonight. Villarreal have got a manager who has won all his Europa finals. MU’s defence is highly vulnerable without Maguire.

I see a 3-1 win for Villarreal and real disappointment for the Solskjaer and his team.

Villareal and Emery are one of those wily teams so wouldn't be surprised if they win. But Ole should be winning this.

Just don't see it myself. Villarreal are a bit average and utd have played better teams in the competition already this season

Should but most likely won’t. MU have always crumbled under weight of expectations. Whenever they’ve been expected to win they lose and vice versa.

maybe so but that was then and this is no on a one off game.

Villareal easily dismissed arsenal too so really the question is whether they can hurt utd on the day.

Both teams have played about the same number of games but villareal might have a couple more days rest in them.

still 8th in the table ;)

I could say they thumped seville 4-0 but there was a red card in that game. really the issue here is do you think utd are "awesome" and villareal are "average"

I think if you can tactically negate fernandes utd fall apart. in england he is usually given way too much space.

also var is not bribable in europe so that's the 12th man gone.

I'd give villareal a bit of a chance but as others have said utd should have no excuses here. should be an easy 2-0 win.

No excuses apart from the habit of bottling crucial matches especially in Europe.

That was my implication, a get out when the mancs win I can say well they were expected to but if the lose i can laugh and say how badly they have ****ed it.

    Classic hedging bets stuff
