**** seems to have really hit the fan there. Falsified accounts, inflated transfer fees to balance their books. were banking on the ESL joining fee to balance it.
Another relegation inbound. Probably didn't pay thier taxes Toy can do anything in football as long as you pay taxes as city and psg prove.
Obviously City have been fiddling numbers to get past FFP. Whether they have broken just the rules of the game or rules of the land, would be beyond our knowledge.
well given HM revenue and customs have not broken the doors down i can only conclude that as city have exaggerated thier revenues they have also paid their inflated ( or otherwise taxes) Until such time as their doors are rammed in and their accountants are hauled out in handcuffs we have to presume innocent until proven guilty (for criminal cases) Juventus seem to have been caught making false reports which city might be accused of but it does look like juventus will have to restate the last 3 years accounts They declared a record very loss of 254mil euros after tax in 21/22 but they have been pointed out as having issues in player "trading". As in since 2019 the italisan have noted 62 suspicious transactions (as in somethings dodgy) and a whopping 42 of them related to Juventus alone! It seems to be an issue as Juventus unlike other clubs love a "swap" Pjanic went to barca for a reputed 60mil euros. Arthur goes to juve for 72mil euros (yes that arthur) Now thats a 12 mil fee paid by juve. but they seem to have done something really dodgy this is all down to the amortisation process again. Pjanic was only 6mil or so left as value on juve books so they have thrown in a 54mil profit they then have only declared a 14mil amortisation cost for arthur in despite the fee paid and boom... a 38mil profit overall on the deal is declared but they actually spend 12mil.. the books show a great deal and profit but the reality of cash flow is they bought arthus for 12mil and a player. This means Juve were inflating their revenues artificially Or "on paper" where as the real cash flow is something else entirely. Juve are accused of making over 300mil in artificially inflated paper gains. The question is what actual law has been broken. Thier core issue is Juve is a publicly listed company so they are making false returns to shareholders. It may be the case that they've broken no laws but have broken the italian league rules as they failed to meet FFP by coking the books and could have the league throw the book at them as it were. All very very murky... and you start wondering about the people like barca who they swapped with. Pjanic was never worth 60mil ever so his value went on thier books and also inflated the thing. If for example man city swapped Swapped say scott carson (vlaue 500mil) + 5mil for a 16 year other youth who is to say that was not value. they could then declare 200mil revenue amortised over 5 years on their books and the buying clubs can write it off (another city vehcicle) another insight into the very very dodgy world of football chicanery.
Pogba Di maria arthur Rabiot Moise kean Seriously though their real squad had chisea, vlahovic, kostic, Gatti. a few half decent players still but they are all grossly overpaid.
Just means they don't know of any discrepancies at this time. I'm not saying that City *has* been cheating taxes, but just saying it wouldn't surprise me if a few laws might have been broken while trying to keep their real finances hidden.
Never seen a player be so not bothered about being at a World Cup as KDB. In fact the whole Belgium team looked like they couldn't be arsed to be there, they'd decided they couldn't win it (before a ball had been kicked) so what was the point in them being there.
