Disappointing result today I thought. SC keeps on about going out to win games and for the first few minutes we controlled jhe game without looking that threatening. Sinclair scored a good goal against the run of play but Brewster equalised albeit with an assist from a slightly offside Ayew. Celina showed touches of his class throughout but only touches messing up a clear cut opportunity in the second half. Preston were solid enough but were there for the taking but weren’t. Byers needs to man up being a mid fielder who is afraid to run with the ball at his feet preferring to get rid quickly. Bidwell is a liability full stop. Cullen should not have been introduced for a couple of minutes at the end of this game preferably at home when we are three up....
Very disappointing on reflection , regarding Cooper he maybe a good coach ( his reputation mustwithin the game must have helped obtaining the loan deals he has) but as manager not for me , too passive on the touch line and in his often belated substitutions , like for like with little idea on how to counter act the opposition . Byers for me has been a disappointment he hasn't progressed as a player , with limited ability but always seems to start .
He’s SCs love child surely. Second on the team sheet after Grimes and Woodman who are first on together. Then we get a like for like substitution with Fulton....we still hear that we play to win these games but to do that we need to shoot more often instead of passing back and forth.....
We were denied a penalty in the second half when Brewster was pole axed in the area. Nailed on but not given. The ref was shocking.....for both sides. Mind you with some of the muppets called assistants supp9sedly help8n* it is no wonder the man with the whistle under achieves.
