    If you turn it on its head then you could charge £5 per game and they would still make a good profit.

    #PremierLeague clubs paid out wages of £2,500,000,000 in 2016/17, but still made a collective profit of £664 million. Money from matchday fans was £606 million so even if every ticket was sold for nothing the league would still have made a profit.

    On the list of clubs that were profitable without fans, I was surprised that we were the least "irrelevant" at something like 14% of income.
