I've made it to games in each of the other home nations, but I've never been to Twickenham, so I'm really grateful to Chelsea, and looking forward to this.
You’ll love it mate. Very different to football, but that doesn’t make it bad, not even close. One of my fondest sporting memories is going to England v Ireland at Twickenham with my Dad when he was still alive. Plan ahead for parking / transport though!
Cheers, as I mentioned it's something I'm looking forward to, and if it's only a fraction as good as my other visits, I'm sure it'll still be a great day out. As for travel, I'm just accepting that it's going to be a pain however we choose to get there, but the person I'm going with has to get back as quickly as possible as they have an early start the next day. I think they're just going to have to accept that being tired the next day is a price they're going to have to pay.
Can’t drive at night as I am awaiting laser treatment on one eye and “advised” to not drive then can’t get back by train so going to go down Saturday and spend a couple of nights in a hotel. Thinking of stopping outside London and going in by train and tube. Assume there would be no problems as it says no strikes planned that weekend.
Some would say 'hopefully they'll use Auric Goldfinger's laser', I couldn't possibly comment. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Would that be for the first time, or even first time recently? The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I can wait to see the available photographic evidence. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
I can when I can drive at night. And come on train. Have a read of how many who actually live in Hull are on here when a match is on. And, I am getting tickets for my rugby mad grandson. It is evens that I may have to give one to my son to take him as I can have a do and things change quickly as they have when I have bought tickets and arranged to meet some posters on here and when it came to the day was unable to come over.
