    http://www.lequipe.fr/Football/breves2011/20110128_143826_sessegnon-depart-pas-finalise.html

If the transfer of Stephane Sessegnon to Sunderland was to be finalized this Friday, Robin Leproux, the chairman of Paris-SG, has made statements on the waves of discordant France Info .

"O you start is not finalized (Friday morning), he said. We did not intend to let Stephen. Frankly, we need him on the second half of the season, and if we do not find an agreement with Sunderland who absolutely wants to have it, and it does not happen on our terms, he will not leave. "Now there are economic realities , however nuanced Leproux . For a player who did not hold here, we made an offer very, very, very important . "

    Payet should not come

The president also spoke Parisian ... to the replacement of Sessegnon. " We work on its replacement, but it does not do anything, because the club has made poor operations at this time of year already . "Dimitri Payet's name has been scratched. Chairman of the director of St. Stephen, Roland Romeyer we has explained that " the door is closed "for a departure from international tricolor.

Could just be the French pretending to put up a fight - even though they have already surrendered and have consigned themselves to losing him.

"his departure was not finalised this morning (Friday), we did not intend to let Sessegnon leave as, frankly, we need him for the second half of the season. If a deal with Sunderland cannot be found (which sunderland want very badly), and it does not happen on our terms then he will not leave. Leproux did qualify that statement with <however, there are economic realities....>

Thought i would translate into "proper english".....

so basically we are still negotiating the nitty gritty details, as reported by the media earlier today.

That might as well be in french for all the sense it makes mind.

I think it says 'we were gonna try and stop Sess, but as with everyone, it was his lifelong dream to score in front of the north stand, and i'm too much of a coward to stand in his way, the 6million euro is merely incidental'

    Aye.

Afternoon all! I saw everybody from 606 had migrated here so thought I'd do similar, why are they closing 606!? I read a lot but didn't get too involved over there, but here looks nice, so I might try and pop up more often..

Fingers crossed both deals get tied up soon, I'm sure when the transfer window opened at the start of the month it was only meant to be a few days before we got them. We all know we need quality options in midfield so to get them would really be a step forward, Sess looks awesome in clips though I've never seen him play a whole game.. hopefully will get to do so soon in the red and white!

I think the delay with Sess has purely been dealing with the french.

I have the misfortune of dealing with the french on a daily basis at work, and however un-pc this statement may be, they are lazy, idle twats.

He probably couldn't be arsed to fill in some paperwork or summat (not Sess, the PSG president)

So this mean's Bigus Chrisus wasn't telling the truth about the car park space holding the deal up?

    Also the French surrender?

Glad thing's are back to normal then. Sounds to me like we are doing the all the donkey work and PSG are being, excuse my french here, Twat's about the whole thing.

I concur Brucey, Robin Le poof is trying it on, that's all.

Also dealt with Frenchies on numerous ocassions. Bloody nightmare, esp. for those of us a little more direct/honest in our approach to life. They always assume they are more sophisticated/intellectual, like to debate & take the moral high ground whilst figuring out a way to stab you in the back. Bit like the Czechs.

Anyway, stick to your guns Quinny lad and stamp le slimey Grenouille into the ground.

The mags i can deal with marra, the frogs? Nowts ever done, nowts ever their fault, The person who is dealing with it is always new.

To busy eating overrated food and crashing their Peugeot's into stationary vehicles to get owt done.

I'll never know how they provided assistance to us on such a magnificent achievement as Concorde, although the one that crashed was an Air France, not a BA.

Some frog jizzflick probably forgot to put the pertrol cap back on or summat, to busy eating a baguette.

I see casual racism is going to be the order of the day here, then? All French are idle and stupid? Yeah, sure. Just like all mackems are chavs.

It was this sort of racialist remark that led me to move over to not606. But bigotry still rears its ugly head. I suppose you have met every one of the 60 million people living in France and there are no exceptions. I also suppose that you were outraged by Gray and Keys losing their jobs. And I further suppose that you grant me the right to go on to all the other boards, quoting what you have written, saying that all Sunderland supporters are racists. Your statement is not "un-pc", it is pig ignorant. I hope when Malbranque (who is French, not Belgian) finally puts the ball in the back of the net, perhaps beating Chelsea on Tuesday or sealing our place in the Europa League, you will be coming on here calling him a lazy, idle twat, because that is what he is, n'est-ce pas?
Vive la France, vive l'Angleterre, vive le football, vive les chats noirs (l'équipe, pas moi) et à bas les ***nards racistes comme toi.

I didn't at any point say 'all' french in my statement.

I am speaking from several years experience dealing directly with them, so it's not 'casual racism' as you put it, it's my opinion based on personal experience.

You need to look deeper before branding people any form of racist, would you have had owt to say if i said' there's a bone idle geordie lad works for me'

I am not, and never had been racist on any level, thank you very much.

    'read above remark'

And for the record, Steed Malbranque was born in Mouscron, making him Belgian.

Thanks for your one sided input, i won't have ANYONE brand me a racist.

Please tell me where i used the words 'all french'? As o post of personal experience, it is referring directly to those i have dealt with, and therfore is valid as my opinion.

there are idle lazy twats every where...... The problem with the French is the bureaucracy - always loads of paperwork to do. And all the french lazy twats work in the public/government offices (it seems to be part of the acceptance criteria if you want a job in public service / government etc)

-Can I please repaint the outside of my house in x colour? (need permission from the village/town/city council)
-Yes of course sir, here are the 22 forms you need to fill out and you will need to wait the standard 3 months
    - you what? isnt there an easy way to do it?
-this is the easy way sir. oh, and by the way you need to bring the forms back on tuesday or wednesday morning
    - Whys that then?
    - because, sir, thats the only days we actually work....

Rest of the French are actually pretty easy to get along with (I live in France and my wife is french).

BTW, i reckon the french women should of been in the army not the men, my wife doesnt seem to know the word "surrender"...

you said "the french" you didnt qualify the statement by "the ones i work with"

as someone who has a french wife, your comments (and those of others on this thread) could be seen as offensive. i chose not to take offence and reply in a light hearted way.

    dan,

I've re-read my post, and i think it's quite clear i'm referring to the french I HAVE TO DEAL WITH.

I have then taken this personal experience and used it as a base for a statement, and been branded racist for it.

What a pair of knobends (not you dan, the other 2)

Are you speaking punjabi cause i can not understand a word you just wrote,

Its a football forum, supposed to be full of light hearted humour, now everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but don't take it to heart, because if you do, then this place is simply not for you. <cheers>
