Shrodingers cat , or possibly, the person who opened the box with Shrodingers cat in it? It I'm allowed a second go, then Pandora.
Cheers Yorkie. What did/have Charles Rutherford, Johnne Faw, Ladislav Stojka and several Boswell's have in common ?
Nope sorry Yorkie. They all shared a certain title, and all lived/live in Britain (in one case what is now Britain). This is a little obscure I agree - the living one is Ladislav.
You have it in one Andy Ladislav Stojka was crowned King of the British Gypsies in Peterborough a couple of years ago. The first on my list ie. Johnne Faw actually had royal acknowledgement of this - re. the following letter from James IV of Scotland: to ''Oure lovit Johnne Faw, lord and erle of Litill Egipt'' This granted Johnnie authority over all Gypsies in Scotland and called upon all sheriffs to assist him in ''executione of Ruthless justice upoun his company and folkis'' who were to ''conforme to the lawis of Egipt''. Others holding this title have also received royal assent from reigning british monarchs. Over to you.
Sorry, yorkie. I shouldn’t do this quiz lark, should I? Quite right, due to the high altitude, air is thinner and so oxygen (by volume) is about a third of sea level. Apparently it’s hard to start fires generally, and those who can, pride themselves. Then there are those who claim they can light fires with one match, something very difficult. Among the one match brigade are those who claim to be able to light a barbecue with one match. Many believe it impossible, but the barbecue chefs (parrilleros) who claim it, are highly respected. Belatedly , over to you.
