FIFA have said that the 2022 World Cup can only beheld in Nov/Dec .

Just imagine the chaos that that will cause in National leagues in the northern hemisphere upto a two month gap in the season and also Christmas time as well......what a joke Qatar winning the venue.....big money speaking louder than commonsense.

On the Telly last night it showed the slave conditions that Qatar are using to built the Stadiums......immigrant workers can not leave because their passports have been taken away and they also need paperwork to allow them to go back home as well......one man had been trapped there 13 years unable to leave....their living and working conditions are terrible.....in the hot season workers are just dying.......one of the richest countries in the world and that is how they treat immigrant workers.

We'll be alright Jools it will finish on the 23rd.....plenty of time to buy the presents.....and buy the food .....and put up the decorations.

Generally with a summer tournament the players would still have a few weeks off before the league season starts........will they have a Christmas and New Year close down to compensate......the big leagues will be chaffing at the bit by then......you couldn't make it up....no one would believe you.

Of course even by 2022 it won't effect PAFC's season in the lower leagues......unless they have another NZ player......what a goal getter he was....but don't forget he came back from the WC without being on the losing side....more than England could say.

When you think that it was the vote on this that scuppered Argyle and put us where we are now never mind nearly killing the club altogether. Any other organisation in the World would be on the front pages of every newspaper in the World as the reason Qatar won is so blatantly obvious to everyone. How this organisation can get away with it is beyond me.

Their Human Rights are appalling and everything about their bid is appalling. It was blatantly obvious to anyone who has ever been in that region that it was never going to be played in the Summer. Simply it couldn't be. The disruption to every European League is huge and it is going to muck up all sorts. Not only leagues in this Country but Cups as well. It's a joke and the sooner all of the current officials are sorted out and got rid of the better. Trouble is in this case the Turkeys do vote on Christmas so it's all unlikely and even another bunch would probably think it was a good earner and do nothing just the same.

I think it would take Governments to order a boycott rather than being left to FA organisations. They are simply tarts for pound notes and euros if left to their own devices. Thats all of them not just our own.
