A little early this, however I'm bored in my flat waiting for the laundry to finish so thought " sod it lets try and write something ITFC " - I actually played myself this morning. Christ sake playing footy is fun, however so annoying when people cannot give the ball BACKWARDS aswell - it doesn't always have to go forward! Christ I could have fallen out with several today. But that's another story. We have a decent record at Loftus Road, a ground I'm yet to visit from memory. The game that forever sticks in my head is the 4-2 win in the 04/05 season. 2-1 down I think, Currie debut.... 4-2 win. Nice. More of the same please. Not remotely happy about the lack of CB coming, however murmurings on TWTD Chamber's will be back for this one. Also, I cannot see Mick playing the four strikers again, especially away from home. Celina came through 90 by the looks, Rowe aswell though from what I've read needs to do more. Celina will surely at worst be impact sub now, seems to have that bit of quality required. Be a little surprised to see him start this though. Good news on Adeyemi, 80 and surely good for a bench spot. No idea if Hyam is viewed as ready / little bit of cotton wool or a set back. Time will tell ( I wouldn't start him anyway ) Think we'll go 4-4-2 again, have a feeling it may be something along the lines of..... Bart Spence RB / Chambers / Knudsen / Kenlock ( Iorfa apparently poor vs Fulham ) Ward RM / Skuse / Downes / Sears Garner / McGoldrick Though SURELY Waghorn will start! MAYBE inplace of Sears, however with Freddy you'll get great workrate / tracking / in a nutshell he's been McCarthy'd and knows what the hell he has to do to play. It's pleasing to have some attacking options for once...... Bench - Gerken / Woolfenden / Nydam / Rowe / Celina / Waghorn / Adeyemi?! Though again, if Hyam is fit, think Mick loves him and he'll be in the 18. What is pleasing though, is despite the injury mess we still have some form of options. I don't like the looks of our backline at all, looks very weak however the frontline look better. From the highlights I've seen we've been very very lucky to get 12/15 and I'm not sure we'll have enough to gain 3 points here. That said, QPR look to be one of the poorer sides in this league and it's good chance to win. 2-2. Entertaining, open. Thoughts?
Waghorn has been doing his defensive duties just as well as Sears. He finds himself in the RB position often during games and is aware of his surroundings when there. 3-1 Town for this one.
I would like to see us go back to the back 3 as it gives us the chance to actually compete in midfield rather than get outnumbered and overrun once again. Also, I reckon Hyam will be back in the squad (possibly starting) as he didn't get a game for the U23's last week and Mick has always been a fan of his and I wouldn't be surprised to see McG rested/picked up a niggle etc. Iorfa | Spence | Chambo | Jonas | Kenlock Ward | Skuse | Hyam/Downes Garner | Waghorn I suspect we'll scrap and battle our way to a 2-2 draw
An entertaining scrap 2-2, with Hyam blooded for last 20. That is the ever optimist glass of Adnams overflowing!
Having said that, Downes is the new Skuse, he really loves to get a foot in but always looks forward for the next pass. Always receives the ball on the turn, ready to move forward.
Must be a TV rights thing. I find it quite ridiculous that you can't get a stream. Hope you don't pay as much as I do for membership Well worth the money though, I love watching these streams, crowd noise only makes for great viewing. No replays is a drag though, looked like Garner was through on goal but called offside. Not sure if the call was correct.
