We need to practice seeing a game out. The "injuries".holding the ball in the corner, taking time at the goal kicks, throws etc. But. Wonderful with the win and QPR silver lining.
SM takes us out of relegation. What a master stroke by the manager Well done to he lads - it’s been a difficult week but we’ve pulled a win out of the bag, so a chance to breathe and begin building. Let’s hope a centre back is in the cards for the week ahead. Well done to the crowd too for pulling through with the team.

Vital win, well done to Steve McClaren and the lads. Our season is finally underway. Should give the squad confidence and convince our two new men how much they're needed and that they made the right move.
A win but not convincingly so A surprisingly poor Wigan side let us off despite a lot of shambolic defending on our part, especially from Freeman. We need to stop giving away so many free kicks in the final 3rd - decent opposition strikers would've buried us today That said, great debuts from Hemed and Wells, both of whom will get better as match fitness comes. And a very positive goalkeeping performance from Lumley despite some dodgy distribution Schteve still isn't what we want in a manager though
A very impressive performance under the circumstances, which certainly exceeded my expectations! A robust defensive performance and finally some “teeth” in attack. It was exactly what was needed and it was was well received by the fans. Let’s build on this result with a mid-week result and we can even say we gave a “Cup run”! It will be a much more pleasant weekend than of late
Have been up to my arse in shrubs and thorns, clearing the mess of a garden that the last occupants of our new place left for us. Absolutely thrilled to see that we got the win and Hemed scoring on debut is fantastic. Well done Maclaren and the boys today. It's never easy to turn around a run of defeats and it would have been very nervy towards the end I'm sure. Reading through this thread it sounds as though Freeman is flattering to deceive, which I think he did quite a bit last season too. Maybe it's time to give him a rest and let Eze be the real playmaker? Sounds like Eze was good again today. Anyone who went fancy doing a report? URssss!!
Played well at times & defence for once stood firm, gave too many dangerous free away especially towards the end, thought we just about deserved it, liked the new front two & movement was good, wells done a lot of chasing down & done it well, more game together & the better they will become, still a bit iffy in midfield at times & could do with a shake up, overall pleased with first points.
