Three down after fourteen minutes against a team below us. Unbelievable, unforgivable, and bought an apology from Ainsworth. The club are clearly looking to move on from Tuesday night, and make it history. Since the game, news articles have been released on our official website informing us of gift ideas for mother's day, a report on Masterson scoring for Gillingham and my personal favourite, an article informing everyone they can buy custom QPR car mats. We all want to forget it, but I felt car mats were really scrapping the bottom of the barrel for content. In our last five, we've won one and lost four, and sit 19th on 42 points, 7 away from the drop. Our visitors on Saturday, Birmingham City, aren't fairing much better. They've won one, lost three and drawn one of their last five. Their manager is the former QPR assistant manager, John Eustace, who was assistant under Steve McLaren, then briefly managed us before Mark Warburton was appointed. He left in June 2022 when some bloke whose name I can't be bothered to remember was appointed our manager, and was appointed manager of Birmingham in July 2022. He has, so far, managed 41, won 12, drawn 11 and lost 18. Their top scorer is Scott Hogan, with 10 goals...but goals come from elsewhere in the form of Troy Deeney, Lukas Jutkiewicz and Auston Trusty. Do we also need to be concerned about their #6...Hannibal. Team news and manager comments to go up when on the official, and as always... ...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
Oh oh, the ones to forget list is a bit short. You all know what that means? Plus, they will have someone in their team who has never scored in their career, we know that will change by 5pm on Saturday.
Perhaps we need Stacey to do a Hakka for the team before the game? Thinking anything positive will help.
I hope he played better for her than he did for us, or should I say better with her. He certainly didn't turn any heads at Loftus Road.
**** it, if we are going to crash and burn it has to be witnessed. Train strike so I’ll drive down and forgo the usual beer anaesthetic.
