I wouldn't call it mid-table just yet. It's a good job we've put a run together with other teams doing the same.
Was looking after my kids all afternoon with only half an eye on the game if my wife asks...was actually watching the game with half an eye on the kids...a scrappy one, as the goal showed...but if that is how we have to play to get a result against good sides who are pushing for the playoffs, no complaints from me. Good job done and let's keep it going next week against Rotherham.
Scrappy win? Yes. Do I care? No. 3 more crucial points, running out of superlatives for Dieng to be honest. Keeps us in so many games with his saves. Great to get a win at home finally, well done the lads, well done Warbs
Those tight 1-0 wins are often won by good defences - and not too many weeks ago we wouldn’t have thought we were up to the task - but fair play to the defensive line and others helping out we seem to have improved massively. As said previously, a dirty win but sometimes that’s what is needed. Onward we go and we’ll need another gritty performance against Rotherham next week.
It is so congested down there we are on a good run and only 5 PTS of relegation... Wycombe have gone but still two other places to be acquired
and these are the results which show why I am near the bottom of the Brixton R Memorial League. I had us down for a defeat...and we win. I am pretty sure that when I have put the R's down for a win we lose, and when I put down a loss....we win. So I will be booking us down for a few more losses until mathematically safe. Am I am taking one for the team....or just rubbish at predictions??
