A great game for neutrals. End to end pretty much throughout. Disappointing to see so many demanding a more cynical approach from our youngsters as we get plenty of negativity from our so called experienced players. Yes, the end was a sickener but quite why the ref allowed 2 minutes over the already generous 4 is a mystery. A stone cold cock up from Cameron who had a pretty poor game overall IMO but our youngsters look better and better.
He allowed the game to play on from their throw in on the 95 minute because one of our "supporters" deliberately threw the ball away from the Charlton player... That equaliser was caused by the fans. If the ball had been given back In sure the game would have finished with the throw in
Very disappointing if true. Do you know this or speculative? Aside from that, there is some considerable naivety in the team. With 4 mins elapsed BOS and Eze were still trying to score instead of taking it to the corner. Two points most definitely dropped against possibly the worst side I've seen at LR so far this season.
If Warburton insists we must play out from the back, then the midfield and up front need to make themselves available, instead we piss arse around passing across the field then back to the keeper, getting nowhere and putting ourselves under pressure that we are not good enough to get out of, end up loosing the ball or punting down the pitch. It must have happened 10 times today. When we had kick off I said to my Charlton supporting mate with me that Charlton would have a throw in, in the first 3 seconds. I am not clairvoyant just been there before. That said this season is better than the last several seasons. Up the R’s
Some bloke in the corner by R block chucked the ball away which took about ten seconds at most to resolve. It took the referee longer to stop the bloke taking the throw ten yards further forward than he was willing to. Seemed like an awful lot of stoppage time given most of it was spent with the ball in play.
Lumley, Hall and Leistner were all good in my opinion. Both goals were absolutely appalling individual errors. Cameron is ****ing woeful.
I think Cameron is an excellent pro, but despite scoring today, I reckon his legs have gone. I like Ball. First saw him in the pre season friendly at Oxford Utd and was impressed.
Ball has looked pretty competent every match he’s had a chance but mysteriously lost his place and now seems to be third to Scowen too.
If he doesn’t get a start at Reading after his half hour today then he’s definitely shagging Warburton’s wife, daughter and mother.
It's all about opinions....none of the Aberdeen supporters I work with (in Aberdeen!) rated Ball when he was there But then I didn't rate many of the current Aberdeen players when I saw them v Rangers a few weeks ago
Thought Cameron was v good today, apart from there at the end. Scored the goal, and would have had assists if we could have finished.
I thought Cameron was good, but that last defensive header was atrocious....all he had to do was head it anywhere, and in fact it was perfect for the onrushing Charlton forward.
