Ffs why ? Absolute joke how 1 club can be so decimated with Injuries continually. We've played 2 league games ffs, we're riddled with sicknotes. Without Willock and Amos we look pony
Oh great, my first game aswell! I expect many more post match interviews just like that this season. There's something amiss with all these niggly injuries
So Paal is out injured too ! Seriously wtf ? In his interview Beale looked and sounded disgusted. Saying yet again players were given a chance and yet again they haven't stepped up. Yet again we have conceded from the 2nd phase of a corner because we haven't reacted quickly enough to close down an opponent on the edge of our box. How many times is that now ? Do we have the thickest or laziest bunch going ? There's only so many times you can tell and coach players to do something, if they just keep repeating what they're doing then you need to get rid of them. Unfortunately we have so many injuries and no players coming in, so he's stuck with them. To hear that Willock, Amos and Paal are all injured again aswell as Richards out for 2 months and Salter for god knows how long we are in dire straits 2 league games into the season. We will do well not to get battered at the weekend if that team play like that again. Armstrong and Roberts both have to start and Unfortunately so too does Nico Unfortunately. Grim night
Wonder if Beale's grim post match was a little bit of a dig/nudge at the board to get some signings over the line.
I wonder if Beale will stick around. I can’t believe he would have signed up knowing that there was a completely empty fighting fund. He is sufficiently experienced to appreciate the limitations of our small squad and how injury prone our key players have been.
It did seem quite quick for Willock to be back - but you trust the medical and management teams to get it right. Hopefully it’s nothing too serious for any of the injuries - but it’s not a great start. Makes Saturday a battle if this line-up can’t get past Charlton. Still stranger things happen. Lot of work for Beale to do between now and the Sunderland game. All in the ups and downs of football, he just needs to get more decisions right than wrong to get us all moving in the right direction.
It would have been nice if Saturday's warm glow had lasted more than three days. Doom and gloom resumed.
In his post match interview, Beale seemed pretty critical of all these injuries. Seems our physios etc aren't up to the job. Really hope Willock hasn't done another hamstring or something. The silence is very concerning.
We are 18 games unbeaten and your squad is all over the place. This looks all set for.... Sunderland 0 - 1 QPR
I said last season thst the amount of injuries occurring at the club was way too many, something is seriously wrong somewhere. To have half of your 1st eleven out after 2 league games is farcical, especially when you know your back ups aren't up to this level and you aren't bringing anyone in. Beale himself said its unacceptable and he needs to get to the bottom of it.
does our set piece coach not only NOT work on our free kicks or corners but also NOT on defending them, either? Bored of it.
This is all a bluff. All of our squad is fit and raring to go and we'll be announcing a major new signing tomorrow. 1-0 to you.
None I've found as yet on any of the 3 or an update on Salter. Only one I've heard was Richards out for 8 weeks. You do fear for Willock playing so long in such a demanding game, it would be a crushing blow I it's a lengthy spell. Amos is made of glass, and as much as he improves the midfield, how many games a season will you get out of him ?. Paal is grim news too as Nico is truly abysmal, something we've know fir a long time. Not to get in decent cover at left back and a proper right back in are unforgivable errors from the noard in my eyes. I won't even get started about strikers !
