I think I’m going to take a QPR sabbatical and ditch the rest of the season. We really are too poor to watch. I was happier I think when I felt I didn’t care about the games. Time for Warbs to move on maybe. That young guy sacked from Bristol City might be useful for us but he’ll get better offers no doubt. No one will be rushing for their cheque book for Eze or BoS on the basis of todays type of performance, that is for sure. The financial effect of Covid might mean many teams will be offloading players. This will saturate the market and drive prices down I think.
Complete capitulation, I dont know what they got up to in the lockdown but none of it was football related,Eze looks ready to move on,its going to be a long tough summer
How can you have 75% possession and only have 1 shot on target but the opposition manage 5 with 3 goals with their meager 25%.
Maybe the team tactic is to see out the rest of the season with poor performances and therefore keep BOS & Eze away from a possible transfer. As you can tell I'm a glass half full kind of person.
I think it is time to give MW some money. Im sure he has lost and sold more players than he has brought in. Maybe it is time to sell one of the potential big price players, and give MW some of the cash to re-invest. Losing your captain and Pugh on 30th June hasn't helped. At this time, I can see Hugill not wanting to stay. I did notice Wednesday having one more on the bench than us probably says more than anything else, we are short in numbers, and we need to invest wisely Disappointing end to the season.
On one hand I have sympathy with Warburton. Had to rebuild the squad on a shoestring in the summer and we've seen some exciting football before the interruption which has been easy on the eye at times, with young players developing well. Also lost Wells at a key time which can't have helped, and it must be very hard to motivate players who are mentally somewhere else as soon as the transfer window opens. Then again, the last few games...
It's like as a club we've had one big sulk about having to play these games in the first place, not acceptable
Playing as weak as that we could have had 90% possession and not threatened their goal more. 2 wingers trying to play as strikers doesnt help, especially when Eze seemed content strolling around in the middle of the park, misplacing passes and creating next to nothing. Very little coming from wide, Manning looked hungover, if he wasn't still pissed. Only Kakay, Lumley, and Amos did well, and Clarke when he came on. Worse performance I've seen from us this season.
I don’t think they were prepared for the restart This could explain the Club outrage at announcement of the restart. Something clearly went wrong.
Didn’t watch it today & could’ve when I got home see the 2nd half but decided against it & going by reports on here didn’t miss much, no point getting rid of warbs & keep changing managers every other year as won’t work, going to be another revamp of squad next season & get rid of spuds guys
Piss poor if we weren't ready frankly - we must've known that there was a likelihood of the season restarting even if we didn't support a restart This is supposed to be a professional club Frankly we might as well terminate the loan players now and just wheel in a few more kids for the last 3 games
Couldn't see the game today, although I watched from about 10 seconds before the 0-3 goal. A number of players know that they are either leaving or have decided that there is no reason to bother. lf I were the manager, I would not play any of the players that he knows are on their way and play anyone who makes it clear that they want to be here next season. If MW knows that Eze, BOS and Manning have sorted out contracts for next season, why are they still playing?
