I am not usually prone to flights of fancy. Nor am I partial to exaggeration, normally. So I find myself actually questioning my tenuous grasp on sanity when I find myself contemplating a domestic clean sweep by, the new and very much improved Glasgow Rangers.

    And yet.....

    Why not?

Yes I know Rangers are playing in the second tier of Scottish football. And yes, I am well aware they have yet to be tested against a, so called, "big gun"

Thing is though, I have yet to see a team who are playing at the level we are.

There is no other team in Scotland who could go to easter road and score six goals. No team would batter Queen of the south like we did.

I fully expect us to dispatch St Johnstone in the league cup without much bother and as we progress and this new team gels we will only improve.

By the time the finals come about we will fear no foe.

    WATP.

They are playing well but pumping poofters in the 2nd tier means nothing.

Once the St J have been to the Old Lady, we'll see how we play then but until then, ftp

As has been mentioned, we are playing 2nd tier opposition, but apart from Celtic and maybe Aberdeen, is there any 1st tier Club that has players and a team playing to a better degree of organisation and effectiveness than Rangers ?
We will get an answer to that in the match against St Johnstone, but I have confidence that Rangers will see off the men from Perth.
The only concern from a winning run is that people could get complacent and let things slip. That is when folks get overconfident and unprepared, but I am sure the management and players at Rangers are fully aware of that danger and will not let it arise.
When Rangers next lose a match I trust it will be to a better team and all of the Rangers Family will go away saying, fair enough, they were better than us on the day. It happens (occasionally).
Any chance of a friendly between Aston Villa and Rangers ?

    Where's my coat ?

TBH if Rangers were playing Celtic next week i would fancy our chances. There has been an incredible loss of form from some of your more reliable players. Broony for example. Johannson is another who has been woeful recently. Add to that the fact that your defence is terrible at the moment then, imo Rangers would give you good game.

Celtic will improve once their new signings have a chance to settle. At least the defence will. Rangers should also improve as the season progresses though. Our team has only been together a matter of months.

If we get to the Scottish cup final i would be confident of getting a result against anybody in Scotland by that time. If we progress the way we are doing at the mo.

No arguing there it will be more of a contest this time but the recent blip is down to the pressure of trying to reach champions league and delia not knowing his strongest tactics...

Celtic need to play two up front in spfl, ciftci in a deeper role supporting griffiths and I dare say, broon needs rested and I'd give Scott Allan a chance to see if he can perform better than johansen as, as you say , he's out of form.

Questions might be asked about the fitness levels at Lennoxtown. You are shipping goals at an alarming rate late on in matches. Delia's team selections are mental at times especially his use of substitutes. He is trying to play the same system as Rangers but his wide players and full backs are badly letting you down. By all accounts GMS was posted missing yesterday and why Commons doesn't get a game is anybody's guess. Forrest is another who flatters to decieve.

Why is he playing Iffy in front of the boy he played against Malmo that i canny mind the name of?
