Hi i'm from toonforum.co.uk and we like to ask opposition fans questions before the match to use in our pre match build up. We are grateful to everyone who takes the time to help us. Thanks in advance!

1 – Where do you think you’ll finish this season? What about Newcastle?
2 – New signings you think will make the biggest/smallest impact for both clubs?
3 – What young players could make an impact?
4 – Who is your most important player?
5 – If you could have one football player, past or present, live in your spare room who would it be and why?
6 – Hatem Ben Arfa was a fan favourite at Newcastle United but we never got the best out of him. Do you think Steve Bruce will get the best out of him?
7 -Are you happy to have already been knocked out of the Europa league?
8 - What is the maximum you can achieve over the next 5 years?
9 - What are your views on the rumours linking Steve Bruce with Newcastle?
10 - Scoreline Prediction?

1. Between 12th and 15th - Newcastle slightly higher
2. Hernandez and Diame will have a big impact for us - McGuire will have minimal impact as he is some way off regular 1st team football. Sorry, can't remember who you signed this window
3. Andrew Robertson has made a great start
4. on top form its Huddlestone or Davies
5. Ken Wagstaff - tales of beer and goals!
6. Yes, undoubtedly
7. No - it would have been nice to get into the group stage
8. To become an established mid table PL team and maybe win a cup
9. I think they are bollocks
10. Newcastle 1 - 2 Hull City

1 – Where do you think you’ll finish this season? What about Newcastle?
Mid table. Bottom 5.

2 – New signings you think will make the biggest/smallest impact for both clubs?
All the new signings are exciting to be honest. Tom Ince may struggle to pin down a starting place but that's more a comment on our depth in midfield than any doubts over his ability.

3 – What young players could make an impact?
Andy Robertson.

4 – Who is your most important player?
Hard to say given the new arrivals and what little we've seen on them. On Monday's evidence, Diame could be a key player this season in the middle of the park, and as always much depends on Huddlestone's form (or lack of it).

5 – If you could have one football player, past or present, live in your spare room who would it be and why?
I don't have a spare room.

6 – Hatem Ben Arfa was a fan favourite at Newcastle United but we never got the best out of him. Do you think Steve Bruce will get the best out of him?
Yes. Shame we can't play him against you lot though.

7 -Are you happy to have already been knocked out of the Europa league?
Absolutely not. The group stages would have been marvellous.

8 - What is the maximum you can achieve over the next 5 years?
5 more years in the Prem, with a bit of luck. Another serious tilt at a domestic cup would be nice as well.

9 - What are your views on the rumours linking Steve Bruce with Newcastle?
You can get ****ed, he's ours.

10 - Scoreline Prediction?
2-0 City.

1 – I think we'll finish about the same place as last season, maybe a little higher. Would expect Newcastle to finish alongside us.
2 – For City, either Robertson or Hernandez. For you lot Cabella.
3 – Again, Robertson for us. That Aaron lad you lot have looks alright.
4 – As a team who have not scored as often as we really should, probably Hernandez or Jela.
5 – Zlatan.
6 – Hopefully.
7 -Mixed feelings. Wont go into detail as some fans on here get precious very easily.
8 - Winning the Champions League of course.
9 - I'd leave us with the pricks in charge. Saying that Ashley is hardly any better.
10 - Newcastle 2-3 City, like last season.

1 – Us: 12th. Newcastle about the same.
2 – Us: Most impact, Diame. Least, Maguire as he was signed for the longer term (I could say Snodgrass with hindsight).
You: really difficult to say as I don't know too much about most of them. I'll have to say Colback.
3 – Andrew Robertson: looks an excellent prospect as a LWB.
4 – Curtis Davies.
5 – Brian Clough. He would be fantastic to listen to and probably a great drinking buddy.
6 – No. I don't think the leopard can change it's spots.
7 - Absolutely not. I waited half a lifetime to see City in Europe and then we bollocks it up before we really get started.
8 - Premier League stability and some decent cup runs.
9 - Much though we like to think he would stay, I can see the appeal of Newcastle being too great. But would he change one loony interfering chairman for another?
10 - 2-3 to us.

1 – City 11th. Newcastle 16th/17th.

2 – Expect Hernandez to make a big impact at City, Robertson already has. Expect Maguire to make very little impact for us, this season at least. I would've said Siem De Jong but obviously long-term injury may hinder his impact. So I'll go with Cabella. Looks raw but exciting. Smallest impact I guess Karl Darlow this season.

3 – For us, Robertson has and will start every league game he's available for and has started very brightly. I've really no idea about your youngsters, sorry.

4 – Last season, Curtis Davies, but the addition of Dawson has made him slightly less integral. I'd say Huddlestone. Despite his form not being at it's dominant best, he's the one player who has no like-for-like replacement in the squad.

5 – Zinedine Zidane.

6 – Difficult to say this early on but Bruce obviously has a very different man management style to Pardew. If Ben Arfa is a player who needs an arm round his shoulder, he'll get that from Bruce. HBA isn't just playing for a contract but also with a point to prove to Pardew, and I hope that will do some of Bruce's work for him. As long as we can find the right position in the team for Hatem, I'm confident we'll see great things from him.

7 -No. We have a large squad capable of dealing with another cup competition. We played a second string in qualifying and got knocked out. I would rather have seen a strong XI get us into the group stages and a weaker XI played in the group. I for one was immensely enjoying our European tour and if/when it will happen again is anyone's guess.

8 - Multiple midtable/top half finishes with exciting cup runs and possibly another season in Europe, all as Hull City AFC, of course.

9 - I think the rumours in the papers recently were lazy journalism, linking an obvious candidate. But of course, Bruce's name is likely to be in the ring. I just hope you go for Sherwood or Pulis rather than Bruce as I wouldn't be surprised to see him go.

10 - First goal's crucial, with the toxic atmosphere, if we score early, I think 3-0 City. If not, I'll go for a bore draw, 0-0, both sides will want to be more defensively solid than last time out.

I'm slightly concerned about the number of you who want a footballer to come and stay in your spare room.

I know that superstition aint the way but I really don’t like it when City fans predict we’ll win.

I’d be very happy with a draw.

1 – Where do you think you’ll finish this season? What about Newcastle?

Hull City 11th Newcastle 13th

2 – New signings you think will make the biggest/smallest impact for both clubs?

Biggest - Hernandez/Diame/Robertson Colback/Cabella - Smallest - Maguire - Lenihan - Siem de Jong - Ayoze Pérez

3 – What young players could make an impact?

Robertson - Rolando Aarons

4 – Who is your most important player?

I think it will quickly become Diame. But in reality it is the spine of Huddlestone, Livermore, Davies and Dawson or Chester

5 – If you could have one football player, past or present, live in your spare room who would it be and why?

Haven't a clue.

6 – Hatem Ben Arfa was a fan favourite at Newcastle United but we never got the best out of him. Do you think Steve Bruce will get the best out of him?

Probably not. But he will get a lot more out of him than Newcastle did.
Bruce has a habit of getting the best out of players. Livermore, Huddlestone and Davies

7 -Are you happy to have already been knocked out of the Europa league?

Yes. At the time I wasn't but we could have been relegated or just avoid relegation otherwise.
I wasn't fans around the country to take notice of how good and improved we are as a club and Europe would have been a hinderance to that.

I am disappointed we played so poorly against two teams we should have dismantled in 2nd gear.

8 - What is the maximum you can achieve over the next 5 years?

7th

Or another cup final

9 - What are your views on the rumours linking Steve Bruce with Newcastle?

He is an idiot if he goes because Newcastle are one of the most farcical ran clubs in the world and have been for over a decade.

Fan of Newcastle or not. Why would he want to go to Newcastle at this point when we arguably have a better team than Newcastle and are actually making steps forward.

10 - Scoreline Prediction?

3-1 Hull City

1 - Us 10th to 14th You 12th to 16th
2 – Hernandez/Robertson/Ben Arfa you Jong/Cabella
3 – Robertson for us looks great. Lascelles for you when he actually joins you - looks a great prospect.
4 – The team rather than any individual!
5 – No one really
6 – Steve Bruce is the master at rejuvenating players and faltering/flagging careers. Huddlestone/Davies/Elmo spring to mind, all been overlooked at previous clubs - been a revelation for us.
7 - No, ****ing livid! We have a massive squad and it will now be really difficult to keep all the players happy. You should never be happy when your club simply doesn't turn up and gets knocked out. It's a chance to win something! Pre FA Cup final Arsenal were whimpering about 9 trophy less years! We should be so lucky!
8 - Global domination, Champions League Winners. Seriously, I would take year on year growth (on and off the pitch) with maybe winning the league cup or something like that. The FA Cup final was great, but to get to Wembley and actually win - that would be something else.
9 - I can see why he has been linked, I can see the attraction, he's done a bloody brilliant job here. But, sometimes I just think clubs and managers find a unique fit, hopefully Bruce finds that here. He's very well thought of in these parts. So, keep your thieving Geordie hands off him! ;)
10 - Routine Hull City win - 3-1.

1 -2 would do us nicely, good luck to you after that but you have to get rid of Pardew and the fat controller.
