It is sad and like I said it was upsetting when I saw his family pictures and stuff.

But what @Saff says does hit with a bit of truth, I'd not say it in the same way but he should have been more mature about the whole thing. I found him on facebook as someone on hear mentioned he posted a video, the entire vibe to be was "well, it still isn't as bad as the flu I had when I was 30." It's just immature, self damaging nonsense. It does seem to be some pride talking.

Ultimately, he made his decision and that decision doesn't make his passing any less sad for me.

Yeah, fair enough mate. I always reflect and think did I do enough to help someone, even if it's no concern of mine. Despite his irrational behaviour, he was always good to me behind PM, but suppose knowing I can be a bit of a tornado helps keep stuff in check. I will miss him, stubborn old fool....I know, gay!

I was reading through some of his old PM's to me, most about stitching someone up or some sort of tom foolery.

Found one where he threatened to get the regulator on us. <laugh>

I must have deleted loads of old shhite though.

He was a character, brought in lots of posts. Something that seems lacking these days.

Now you just have the skip rat dominating the whole ****ing forum. It's sad to see.

This is something that has bothered me for over 50 years, no matter who is in power we hear of "cabinet re-shuffles" where the minister for defence is now the minister for education and the minister for foreign affairs is now the minister for agriculture.
What the **** is that about and what do they know about the subjects <laugh>

I never thought about it like that, but you are right.
A guy is defense secretary, tasked with co-ordinating homeland security and military actions, then all of a sudden he is education secretary and is an overnight expert on curriculums and school budgets?
    Of course!

I’d definitely be grieving, that’s a given. But the reason HIAG was so bitter about his mum was because he couldn’t see her due to covid restrictions on the ward. He never mentioned anything about her being denied treatment. Only that he couldn’t see her before she died.

As for putting the guy down. I think he made some poor decisions based on his inability to see the reality laid out before him. If that’s putting him down, then I’m sorry, but it was preventable.

This. Undiagnosed underlying problems are just that.

A few years ago I had high blood pressure, which looking back I think was stress from looking after my Dad with his Dementia. Anyway, as a result I had loads of tests, ECG etc and each year I go to my GP for an annual MOT, which checks BP, weight, cholesterol, blood sugar, kidney function.

Thankfully, all is okay and the health check gives me some peace of mind too. But probs more importantly than that, it gives you an indication of any underlying problems and an early warning system, so that you can make changes/get the right medication if there are any underlying issues.

No mate. He just went off the radar. It was at the time Spain was experiencing the worst of their covid cases, so we all feared the worst.

NSIS wasn't the type to just silently flounce either as he was defo a 'last word' type of poster, which made it even more likely that something had happened to him.
