What you're saying is Rafa left the team well drilled with a distinct style of play which the next manager wasn't able to change for 2 years. Surely that's a compliment to Rafa.

Rafa left us with a very good spine.

Dubravka, Schar, Fernandez. Whether you like them or not Sean Longstaff and Hayden both young players who were performing well. Almiron, Perez and Rondon had a good understanding and were playing very nice football towards the end of the season. Matt Ritchie was solid and reliable, even guys like Manquillo and Yedlin were improving.

Mbemba here we go again. He was very average for us and had a bad attitude Schar, Lejuine and Fernandez were much better players.

It took 2 years after he left us for people to suddenly say oh look he's a good player, yeah playing in a worse league and now it turns out he also lied about his age too.

The players he bought are difficult to offload because they've been managed by Bruce and Howe since.

Anyway, talking about Rafa, word is he's in talks with a club, I don't know who it is, but it's not us.

    I disagree

All the positives right now, all you care about is a manager we had nearly 3 years ago.

    Odd, odd person

In your opinion. However the rest of our family base rated him and so did Rafa, he just rated Lascelles and Clark higher “We're talking about a player where we know he has quality if we analyse him technically. We had Jamaal (Lascelles), (Ciaran) Clark and (Florian) Lejeune doing well, so he didn’t have his space (in the team). There is an opportunity for him now to go to an important club and do well” Don’t let that get in the way of your yarn though, you just make up some stuff about a bad attitude and cocoon yourself in your Rafa blanket <laugh> The fans always loved Mbemba and it was discussed at length on here at the time of his departure. Many were unhappy but felt you had to trust Benitez. That turned out to be a mistake.

The players he bought are difficult to offload because he overspent and bought poorly. Look at Yedlin, his latest club have released him free of charge because he lacks a brain.

The good thing is his time in China, at Everton coupled with his long list of managerial failures have exposed him and completely obliterated the myth your still pushing.

Yedlin who's talking to a number of clubs and on the verge of joining one.

There is no myth. He achieved what he was supposed to do in China.

Everton was a terrible choice and are a terrible team. They're about to hire Lampard FFS.

It wasn't a mistake getting rid of Mbemba. Look at him now, about to be sacked for fraud. A good season at Porto doesn't make him a world class player.

The only positive right now is we have some money to spend.

We've been in the relegation zone all season.

We have another FA donkey as a manager.

We haven't hired a DOF yet.

The directors don't have a clue what to do with us.

Clubs are holding us to ransom.

There's no real plan in place. The negatives so far outweigh the positives.

Yeah but that's because you don't like any manager we are possibly linked with and that taints your opinion to hate everything we do.

You barely came on this board when Rafa was at Everton, only to talk about him coming back here when he was leading them to relegation.

Who said anything about a world class player. The simple judgement is Mbemba or Lascelles/Clark - it’s not even a discussion. He made Lascelles captain…

Pretty sure the lad has previously taken bone tests to prove his age. But keep spreading unconfirmed rumours. Not to worry, it looks like AC Milan are ready to step in if we are going to present rumours as fact. I wonder if AC fancy Lascelles?

Yedlin is a pile of ****e <laugh><laugh><laugh> That's the worst defence I’ve ever heard, at least pick a sane one.

Excuses excuses is all you have. His career is in tatters after yet ANOTHER failure. His last semi respectable job was Napoli. Time to concede you’ve backed the wrong horse fella. Don’t worry you weren’t alone, but most of our fans have now wised up, just follow suit. Just change your username to NotRafman.

According to Sky - So, this shows his West Midlands loyalty has seen him manage Aston Villa, Birmingham City and West Brom. In addition to managing both the Sheffield clubs and both North East Clubs. ****s had more clubs than Tiger Woods.

Some might say that Bruce is a 'natural fit' for the 'Baggies'.

This move just proves to one and all that Steve Bruce is only in it for Steve Bruce.

    He has no standards.
    No boundaries.
    No loyalty.
    It’s all about money.

I honestly hope he gets found out for what he is and that’s a greedy fat twat.
