Hate ridden conspiracy theorist shock jock Alex Jones, who wound up his moronic fans to troll the parents of the child victims of the Sandy Hook massacre by claiming the whole thing was a hoax, making their lives even more unbearable, has been ordered to pay these poor people $965m in damages. Doubtless it won’t end up anything like this amount, but ****ing brilliant. What a total and utter ****.

    I'm sure she is coming.
A little bit more make up and a smudging of the camera lens and she'll be there.

Four Peruvian police officers disguised themselves as Marvel characters to carry out a drug raid in Peru.

Spiderman, Captain America, Thor and Black Widow took part in an operation dubbed "Marvel", which targeted a specific house in the San Juan de Lurigancho neighbourhood in Lima.

The police detained four people during the raid, after seizing 3,250 packages of cocaine paste, as well as bags of cocaine and cannabis.

Multiple students in a primary school in the Australian city of Sydney have been injured after a classroom science experiment went wrong.

Reports say at least two students were taken via ambulance to a hospital with serious burns. Nine others are believed to have suffered superficial burns.

Initial reports suggest the experiment involved sodium bicarbonate and methylated spirits, said outlet 9news.

Not really news, but possibly of interest.

I was snapped running a red light on Christmas Eve, at the incredible velocity of 16mph. Which I don’t remember at all. As the car is in my wife’s name she got the penalty notice, issued on 28 December (no slacking in the income generation wing of Rozzer Inc!). Received on 31st. Filled in the form and sent it off saying I should be the target of their wrath not the Mrs, but a bit concerned with posties on strike, plus us moving house next week that I might get caught in the exponential punishment increase related to tardiness vortex/Ponzi scheme.

So I tried to contact the Warwickshire Camera Enforcement squad using the information provided. The phone number diverted immediately into a recorded message saying they were busy and to try later or email. Not even a queuing system. I tried later, about 30 times, and always got the same result. So I emailed, and got the response, from Warwickshire Police, that my message could not be delivered because the recipient’s inbox was full. Try later. I did, once, same result.

Now I am wondering what this team is stuffing into its inbox to avoid work. Seriously though, making it a huge hassle to pay a fine is hardly the way to generate goodwill.

So after all your efforts to ‘do the right thing’ ….. because of their incompetence, you may very well receive a late payment infringement.

Ahhhh, isn’t it marvellous how well the system works. You have my sympathy.
