SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 23/12/2018 : St Johnstone v Rangers, KO 12:15 hours, BT Sport. 19/12/2018 : One day extra to recuperate (compared to Europa) for Rangers, we need to find the back of the net again. No complaints about not creating the chances, it is taking them that is lacking (and costing). SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 23/12/2018 : St Johnstone 1-2 Rangers At last, the answer to the question : How do you get something from nothing ? (!) ... for it was a nothing performance from Rangers, until SG made his 2nd half substitutions, afterwhich the team came alive. Morelos' double today puts Rangers 2nd, one point behind Celtic, although we have played a game more. Next up, both at Ibrox, Hibernian on Boxing Day and Celtic next Saturday (29th). We will need to be at our very best against both. Attendance : 7,086 (SSN) SPL matches, 22 & 23/12/2018 : Saturday 22nd December Aberdeen 2-0 Heart of Midlothian Celtic 3-0 Dundee Hamilton Academical 1-1 Kilmarnock Hibernian 1-1 Livingston Motherwell 0-1 St Mirren Sunday 23rd December St Johnstone 1-2 Rangers
SPL (SPFL1), Wednesday 26/12/2018 : Rangers v Hibernian, KO 15:00 hours. 23/12/2018 : Another handy combination of fixtures on Boxing Day. A home win for Aberdeen would help, but we must win our home game too. Hopefully we will create as many (if not more) chances as we did at Easter Road and this time, scoring from them ! Friendly, Sunday 20/01/2019 : Rangers 3-2 HJK Helsinki A very useful workout that showed the strength in depth Rangers now have. The main lesson to be learnt from today is to make sure we hold on to a lead (!), going ahead twice only to be pegged back within a minute (twice !). Attendance : 21,224 (RTV)

SPL (SPFL1), Wednesday 23/01/2019 : Kilmarnock 2-1 Rangers Kilmarnock grew into this game, Rangers faded out of it. It was a good start tonight with Defoe scoring, but his goal was cancelled out by a defensive blunder and the remainder of the game saw a very poor performance from Rangers. There was too much square and back passing, hoofing the ball upfield into no-mans-land and bouts of heading tennis, none of which will yield the required results. Must do better !!! This result sees Rangers drop to 3rd and Kilmarnock go 2nd, deservedly so too. Attendance : 12,374 (SSN) SPL matches, 23/01/2019 : Wednesday 23rd January Celtic 4-0 St Mirren Hamilton Academical 0-3 Aberdeen Heart of Midlothian 1-2 Dundee Kilmarnock 2-1 Rangers Motherwell 1-0 Hibernian St Johnstone 1-0 Livingston
SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 27/01/2019 : Livingston v Rangers, KO 16:00 hours, SKY. 25/01/2019 : Rangers require an immediate bounceback on Sunday at a tricky away fixture on another artificial pitch. We are fortunate that our immediate rivals Aberdeen and Kilmarnock play each other, which makes a positive result even more imperative. Celtic play their game in hand on Wednesday 30th ... the same date as our re-arranged Cup tie at Cowdenbeath.
