SPL (SPFL1), Sunday 27/01/2019 : Livingston 0-3 Rangers That was a very good performance from Rangers today, playing as I expect Rangers to play ... on the deck with crisp passing and moving the ball rapidly. Two very good 2nd half goals from Kent (teamwork) and Morelos (individual skill) built on the lead Ryan Jack had provided in the 1st half to give a comfortable margin of victory. Rangers return to 2nd place. Scottish FA Cup Round 4, Friday 18/01/2019 : Cowdenbeath 1-3 Rangers That was a game of two halves, the 1st professional and efficient, yielding Rangers a 3-0 lead, 2nd half not so good and it started from a penalty for Cowdenbeath. Rangers will be away to Kilmarnock on February 9th in the 5th Round. The match will be televised on Premier Sports. Attendance : 4,116 (SSN)

SPL (SPFL1), Saturday 02/02/2019 : Rangers v St Mirren, KO 15:00 hours. 30/01/2019 : Dean Smith's comment that 'draws are a killer' is as relevant to Rangers as it is to Aston Villa. Looking at the SPL table the WDL for Celtic is 16 3 4 and for Rangers WDL is 13 6 4 after 23 games for all SPL teams. Rangers cannot afford to slip up against bottom club St Mirren on Saturday ! SPL (SPFL1), Saturday 02/02/2019 : Rangers 4-0 St Mirren That was some game, four penalties for Rangers. Three were converted and Ryan Kent's lob over the St Mirren goalkeeper (who was impressive throughout, one to watch), completed the scoring. Better than the result though was Rangers' performance, on the deck with swift interpassing mainly. The job was done and done properly all round today, well done lads. SPL (SPFL1), Wednesday 06/02/2019 : Aberdeen 2-4 Rangers The stream gave up after 30' so I have had to follow the bulk of this game on SSN, which showed the goals and red cards. Never mind, it is the result that counts and this result puts Rangers 5 points ahead of Aberdeen. We are still 6 points behind Celtic, but any failings on their part are a bonus and not to be expected. Rangers will have to close that gap when the opportunity arises. Scottish FA Cup Round 5, Saturday 09/02/2019 : Kilmarnock v Rangers, KO 17:15 hours, Premier Sports 06/02/2019 : Rangers' third visit to the artificial pitch this Season. So far it is won one, lost one, so maybe it will be a draw this time ?

Scottish FA Cup Round 5, Saturday 09/02/2019 : Kilmarnock 0-0 Rangers I thought this game might be a draw and it was. Both teams were evenly matched throughout the 90 minutes, with neither dominating proceedings. Tavernier had a 1st half penalty, but it was saved and Defoe had a scoring chance near the end, but the goalkeeper's angle made him put his shot wide. The Replay at Ibrox is scheduled for Wednesday 20th February. Attendance : 11,430 (SSN)
