SPL (SPFL1), Saturday 23/09/2017 : Rangers 0-2 Celtic The better team won today, tbh. The Opposition's first goal came from a loose ball that should have been cleared but wasn't, their second came from a well worked move. As I said at HT on my Rangers forum, the difference between the two teams is that Celtic play like a settled side, where each player knows his role, whereas Rangers look like a side still in the process of gelling. Nevertheless, Rangers are better than before and can only get better. Attendance : 50,116 (SSN)
SPL matches, 23 & 24/09/2017 : Saturday 23rd September Kilmarnock 1-1 Dundee Partick Thistle 1-1 Heart of Midlothian Rangers 0-2 Celtic Ross County 0-1 Hibernian St Johnstone 2-1 Hamilton Academical Sunday 24th September Motherwell 0-1 Aberdeen

SPL (SPFL1), Friday 29/09/2017 : Hamilton Academical 1-4 Rangers That was a good result after a poor start in a frenetically paced match. Rangers were down to 10 men after Ryan Jack was dismissed on 54' for a 2nd yellow card. This result puts Rangers 3rd, pending the remaining results tomorrow. Attendance : 5,400 (SSN)

SPL (SPFL1), Friday 13/10/2017 : St Johnstone 0-3 Rangers That was a comfortable win, with lots of useful possession from Rangers and a clean sheet too, despite conceding 18 (I think) corners ! Rangers consolidate 3rd place with this win. Attendance : 6,887 (SSN)

Scottish League Cup Semi-Final, Sunday 22/10/2017 : Rangers v Motherwell, KO 14:30 Hours - BT Sport 16/10/2017 : Rangers are Away to Hampden Park for the League Cup Semi-Final this weekend. Aberdeen have no game, so the gap to them in the SPL will not change. Kilmarnock have no game either. Scottish League Cup Semi-Final, Sunday 22/10/2017 : Rangers 0-2 Motherwell No League Cup Final for Rangers this Season and I am not really surprised after the performance today. Too much hoofing !!! Congratulations to Motherwell and Good Luck in the Final next month. Attendance : 44,506 (SSN)
SPL (SPFL1), Wednesday 25/10/2017 : Rangers v Kilmarnock, KO 19:45 hours. 23/10/2017 : This midweek game offers Rangers the opportunity to close the gap to Aberdeen and/or Celtic, who play each other. However, if the same hoofing 'tactics' that were used against Motherwell at Hampden Park are repeated, then Rangers might blow this opportunity. A return to action by Kenny Miller would be welcome (and useful). SPL matches, 24 & 25/10/2017 : Tuesday 24th October Hamilton Academical 19:45 Partick Thistle Hibernian 19:45 Heart of Midlothian - BT Sport St Johnstone 19:45 Ross County Wednesday 25th October Aberdeen 19:45 Celtic - BT Sport Dundee 19:45 Motherwell Rangers 19:45 Kilmarnock
SPL (SPFL1), Wednesday 25/10/2017 : Rangers 1-1 Kilmarnock I had to follow this via the SSN Soccer Special, so have no idea about the performance. Going by the SSN live commentary the goal attempts, including goals and penalties, were 10-2 & 10-9 = 20-11 to Rangers, indicating a dominant 1st half and a balanced second half. The result is two points dropped and one place down (from 3rd to 4th) tonight. Attendance : 47,981 (SSN) SPL matches, 24 & 25/10/2017 : Tuesday 24th October Hamilton Academical 0-0 Partick Thistle Hibernian 1-0 Heart of Midlothian St Johnstone 0-0 Ross County Wednesday 25th October Aberdeen 0-3 Celtic Dundee 0-1 Motherwell Rangers 1-1 Kilmarnock
