    SPFL2 (Championship), Wednesday 20/04/2016 : Hibernian 3-2 Rangers

A low-key and under-par performance from Rangers tonight, but of the five goals, three were gifts, Hibs' first two and Rangers' first. After HT it went to 3-1 from a corner and Barrie McKay's second wonder strike in 4 days made it 3-2, but Hibs held on to win.

    Attendance : 12,231 (SSN)

Match Report : Rangers FC - Hibernian 3-2 Rangers

Manager's verdict : Rangers FC - Cheap Goals Cost Us

    SPFL2 (Championship), Saturday 23/04/2016 : Rangers 1-1 Alloa Athletic

Well, we might have guessed this would happen; tbh, I had at the back of my mind one of those 0-1 defeats 'crowning' this occasion. Anyway, it is well done to Alloa Athletic for doing their job today, for all the possession, corners and shots Rangers had.

    Attendance : 50,349 (SSN)

Match Report : Rangers FC - Rangers 1-1 Alloa Athletic

Manager's verdict : Rangers FC - We Must Kick On Again

    SPFL2 (Championship), Tuesday 26/04/2016 : Livingston 1-0 Rangers

That was a below-par performance from Rangers tonight against a team that packed their penalty area, hunted in packs and counter-attacked.

Match Report : Rangers FC - Livingston 1 Rangers 0

Manager's verdict : Rangers FC - Way Below Our Standard

    SPFL2 (Championship), Tuesday 26/04/2016 :

    SPFL2 (Championship), Sunday 01/05/2016 : St Mirren 2-2 Rangers

A draw was the fair result for this game; although Rangers dominated possession and had several chances, the overall performance was below par. The swing was behind, level, ahead, level. Anyway, it is Journey's End and although unwanted, travelling back up through the divisions, from Levels 4 to 2 and next Season back at 1, has been an interesting experience.
To celebrate, a Spitfire flew today.

As MW said on receiving his award, it is a recognition of team effort, both on and off the pitch.

Skysports - Rangers' Mark Warburton, Lee Wallace and Barrie McKay among PFA Scotland award winners

Another treble, of SPFL2 Champions, Scottish Challenge Cup Winners and SFA Cup Winners is there to be won in the SFA Cup Final against Hibernian on May 21st. By way of preparation, Rangers will play Tottenham Hotspur behind closed doors on Wednesday week, May 11th, probably at THFC's training ground in Cheshunt.
