Who said they agreed a £1m fee with his club?

When Stoke were interested in him earlier in the month his club said that he would cost £1m.

Venlo's Managing Director Hans Soentjens told reporters the club had reached a verbal agreement for a £1m transfer for the big forward.

"Rangers really really want him.

"We have reached a verbal agreement with them over a price. We are simply awaiting the outcome of a medical before completing the deal."

 

Must be true then.

But like you say, why would they agree a £1m fee if they hadn't seen him play?

They're bringing in players for trials and giving them a run out in training and/or bounce games but for this guy they just agree a £1m fee.

I don't know but it would be fair to assume and quite logical to suggest that you only get a proper impression when you actually arrive the club?

 

According to his club he was there for a medical.......maybe Rangers werent truthful with why they wanted him over.

Fact is i dont know - and neither do you. So your assessment that Rangers are telling the truth is about as reliable as mine that the player is telling the truth

Went training with the club.
Rangers say he wasn't invited back for a 2nd training.
Leaves the club.
His agent said he didn't like the club.
McCoist said McDowell & Durrant weren't impressed.

And you think the agent is talking sense?
Like I said the agent is hardly gonna say Rangers didn't think he was up to scratch would he?

 

How many players is that now who have arrived for a "Trial" and not "been up to scratch"?

Well they did say that Muslimovic pissed off after 1 training session. Plus I'm guessing that the Murray Park facilities are a hell of a lot better than VVV Venlo's.
