I have read Laird is to be recalled in readiness for a loan to Rangers.

This is worse than just deceitful...if true

I guess he only went on loan to work with Beale, so Beale leaves Laird does as well. Not sure the player has any say in that

Laird was at least training with us yesterday. He looked the stand out player on the clip on the Official. While laughing loud most of the time, his technical skills and speed still looked a cut above those around him. Anyone see Tim in that? I didn't see him, nor Balogun or Dickie though perhaps they are still not fit enough to train. Willock was taking part. Stefan and Amos weren't but looked to be off running.

That would be beyond ****ty, bad enough what he's done already but he will know full well taking Laird would actively damage our team.

I'd have thought he'd be better off staying and getting games in a properly competitive league.

Surely QPR could just say no to that, why would they agree to it?

Not sure how the loan system works, you get a season long loan but then can get recalled is that right? Surely there must be some sort of commitment otherwise why put all your eggs in one right back basket?

Ah ok, sorry, I was getting my wires crossed, I was thinking Laird was a QPR player but he is only with you on loan? Yep, teams often have clauses that they can recall the player, but I very much doubt he will be coming to Rangers as our captain plays at Right Back and is that not Laird's position? To be fair our captain isn't very good at defending but the amount of goals and assists he gets and especially when Gerrard and Beale were here before is impressive. I can't see Tavernier being dropped and we also have a young right back in Andrew Devine so I wouldn't be worrying about Laird coming to us because I doubt he would get a game

Don't get why Laird would leave...he's going to get a higher level of competition in the Championship for the remainder of this season than playing the likes of the Paisley scum etc. Surely Man Utd would want him to have that experience over SPL?

Word on the street is Balogun is back off up here.

Boys on site yesterday didn't seem that enamoured by his appointment, big risk they reckon. Come Jan, if Celtic win Old Firm they'll be 12 points clear...and unless Beale is given some financial backing, he's lumbered with the squad he's got..

You think the SPL is bad....try watching the Scottish Championship! I love it, it's honest, hard working players, at clubs who have very little cash and dream of pulling the Old Firm in a cup (team I watch have an away trip to Celtic..last time they knocked them out, great evenings entertainment!) Proper football, pretty much Conference standard

Balogun is a strange one, a lot of our fans didn't want him let go in the first place and then when about 4 of our CBs were injured the noises got louder, but they seem to forget that he was injured for us a lot too. As soon as we didn't offer him another contract some of our fans suddenly thought he was Maldini. I like him as a player but don't see him as some sort of saviour in the way some of our fans do. How long is his contract with QPR?

Going by this and your Paisley scum comment, I take it you follow Morton? I was at Cappielow in 1987 to watch Morton v St. Mirren. Was meant to get tickets for Rangers v Celtic but ended up at Cappielow. It was the Old Firm game that Woods, Butcher and McAvennie all got sent off and ended up at court. I was gutted that I was in Greenock watching a drab 0-0!

Guessed right! Been to some feisty Renfrewshire derbies, at Cappielow, Love Street and whatever that hideous new ground in Feagie Park is called. Seen the mascots have a fully fledged rammy once, there is no love lost between the two sets of fans.

Cappielow has not changed since you were there I'd have thought - been going since 2000 and it's probably had a lick of paint, that's it!

Having a good season, who know's could be back in the SPL for first time in decades....

OK QPR brethren, let's send the barge-arse off to the tune of E.L.O.'s hit "Don't Bring Me Down"
(with a few modifications to the otherwise impeccable lyrics). Apologies in advance to Mr. J. Lynne.

You went a runnin', are you outa your mind,
We're all a hopin' that you're wasting your time,
    Hope you go DOWN,
Low, low, low, low, low ... Ha Ha Haa

I'll tell you once more, ... once you swing out our door,
    Hope you go DOWN!

You wanna head north to your fancy friends,
We hope that signals the beginning of your end,
    Hope you go DOWN!
Low, low, low, low, low ... Ha Ha Haa

I'll tell you once more, ... once you swing out our door,
    Hope you go DOWN!

    Hope you go down,
    Beale,
    Hope you go down,
    Beale,
    Hope you go down,
    Beale,
    Hope you go dow-ow-own.

What happened to the words you thought we'd believe,
You never meant them, they were said to deceive,
    Hope you go DOWN,
Low, low, low, low, low ... Ha Ha Haa

I'll tell you once more, ... once you swing out our door,
    Hope you go DOWN!

I heard you talkin' 'bout loyalty,
Well now it seems you've no integrity,
    Hope you go DOWN,
Low, low, low, low, low ... Ha Ha Haa

I'll tell you once more, ... once you swing out our door,
    Hope you go DOWN!

    Hope you go down,
    Beale,
    Hope you go down,
    Beale,
    Hope you go down,
    Beale,
    Hope you go dow-ow-own.

You're lookin' bad, another snake in the grass,
I hope you fail bad, bite yourself in the ass.
    Hope you go DOWN,
Low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low... Ha Ha Haa

I'll tell you once more, ... once you swing out our door,
    Hope you go DOWN!

Don't take our players as you're runnin' away,
Hope they see how your loyalty "sways",
Don't break our team, ... up you la-zy cvnt, ooh hooh ooh

I'll tell you once more, ... once you swing out our door,
Hope you go down, down, down, down, down, DOWN!

I'll tell you once more, ... once you swing out our door,
    Hope you go DOWN!

Feagie Park is not somewhere you want to be walking about yourself at night, not sure if it is still bad, but it had an absolutely terrible reputation back in the day and I am guessing it hasn't improved that much.

Hopefully you can sneak a wee win in the cup at the piggery though!

Ah ok, I thought it would be, as he isn't young. On another note, I am trying to get over Fury trying to make boxing into WWE, absolutely ****ing tinpot, but that is a different debate! Take it easy, hombre

Might have been mentioned already but Beale allegedly had talks with Stoke in August and did speak with Wolves. According to Clive at LFW I think.
