    Alan Ball had his 29th birthday in 1974 so he was not winding down his career. He had two more years to come at Arsenal and four years at Southampton.

    Really? I love digital radio. No ****ing about tuning in...no hiss or interference..... couldn't go back to analogue now.

    I never notice the difference to be honest...to me the only really good thing about DAB is 6 Music!

    No, Ball had two more years at the club he was with at that time. He would never have come to second division City at the age of 29.
