  4. It isn't a competition mate.No-one's obsessed with over the road. It's mostly around transfer window time when you get comments placed on there referred to on here, because people are looking for info/confirm about incomings and outgoings.
Any abuse dished out on here is usually deserved to some degree...very different from over there.

I'm on both, but post more on here.
If I want to catch up on SAFC I will look on here, I think it's a more balanced and friendly forum....for me it just makes for a better experience. What's said in one thread on here is spread over bloody loads of threads over there, with countless new threads all about the same topic.
If I post over there it's normally on the smb section, if there's a thread I find interesting and can contribute to. For example I found the thread Learning the Guitar interesting...to the point I gave someone an acoustic guitar as they wanted to learn.

I read most threads on here, and pop on a few times a day, and can't say I've noticed rtg being mentioned much at all really.

Strange post by the op I thought.

I'm moving to Newton Stewart, SW Scotland, and will be looking for people to travel to games with ...

... I also need lessons on the mandolin so I might ask you to post on there for me <laugh>

Nice up there Smug, been going up and down to Kirkcudbright for the past 6 years but sold the static up there last August. Might have a venture up the west coast and islands in the motorhome, but probably wait till the summer.

    How's the mandolin coming on.?

If you're up that way please feel free to come and see us.

There's plenty of room for your motorhome and there's a salmon river runs through the property, we have all the gear.

We arrive the day after the MK Dons home match so around the 20th of Feb ...

... we'll soon settle in and the owners are rarely there, plenty of time for ourselves and learning to play my mandolin.

RTG is full of mags I wouldn't trust any of the anti club rants.. I know of a few die hard mags who are on it daily ,unfortunately I don't know who they post as . I hope the club takes little notice when trolling through a lot of it.

Rtg has its place the same as here does.

I post more on here as I feel at home, I don't have the ego that I feel rtg needs.

Both boards suit a purpose, I certainly prefer @RTB match threads

Honestly, a while back, when the dell thing was going on, RTG was mentioned regularly, mainly in relation to smug and the influx of new people to this board (including me, although I never posted on RTG), but, I've not seen it mentioned in ages. Not since prehab joined up here months ago. In summary, the timing of the OP is mental!

Took me by surprise I have to admit ...

... there are only a few threads where RTG is mentioned and usually in quite a reasonable way.
