Just read on BBC news that fulham, cardiff and norwich are taking legal action against the FA for not deducting points from Sunderland for playing Ji..I cant believe that the FA can be threatened this way and change their mind surely? Nor can I believe that 3 clubs can band togethre to allow one of them to survive and it wont be cardiff or fulham!
1) Precedent has been set with Teves 2) He was our player coming back from a loan deal 3) It was international clearance only, the form was submitted but not signed and should have been flagged up the FA. 4) There is no precedent in the history of the Premiership for points been deducted in these circumstances AND when it has happened in the lower leagues it does not always result in a points deduction. 5) If the Premier League deduct points then this would re-open the League cup action. 6) SAFC drew it to the attention of the authorities. 6) This is being discussed on another thread.
latest from the Daily Mail http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Dong-won-without-international-clearance.html The Premier League will not take any further action against Sunderland, despite three clubs writing a joint letter asking why they were not docked points for fielding an ineligible player. link - http://www.ftbpro.com/posts/richard...es-increase-after-fa-refuses-to-deduct-points
I'd protest if we did tbh. Blaming the failure of an entire season on such a peripheral figure as Ji is pitiful in the extreme. What next, the part time tea-lady at the Academy of Light was using illegal anti-depressants she skanked off the internet
It`s pure desperation that`s all. Scratching and scrabbling for any lifeline and showing themselves up the process.
The only result we had when Ji was involved was at Southampton, he came on as sub when we were one nil up, the game finished at 1-1 so they might award us a point.
It's very important to remember here that despite these clubs behaving like spoilt losers, their fans on the other hand are deeply embarrassed by the whole thing as they see it undignified and unjust, the actions their clubs are taking.
Their fans don't manage the club's bank accounts. And that's why the clubs are embarrassing themselves. It's all about the £. There's no place for dignity and self respect on a balance sheet.
Exactlly, just saying that although I'm annoyed by the audacity of these clubs, something I won't forget for a long time, I'll bear no grudge towards the fans. From what I've read they're handling relegation with complete dignity.
It would surely only be a maximum 1 point deduction anyway, and as such, a win on Wednesday will render their actions pointless. ****ing bell ends, I'm now glad the 3 of them are going down, they can suck my shiny Mackem Premier League bollocks.
This should be in Gus's team talk on Wednesday; the incentive is to absolutely guarentee survival, even if by some farce this embarrassing last ditch effort by these three clubs succeeds.
Bet 365 have us at 50/1 to go down. The bookies have no fear of a points deduction and nor should we. Now lets finish the season with 2 more wins and wave the whingers bye bye.
