it's that time of the season when relegation comes into sharper focus with each game. But not for us for a change, barring the most bizarre set of results in footballing history! So for the PL and Championship, who would you like relegated and why? You may name one, two or three teams from each league as you please. For me: PL Norwich. Looks like they're gone anyway and it will cheer Col up! Villa. Too big to be relegated, blah blah. Heading for FFP which they'll try and avoid as we did. And fail. Then there's their resident BLM champion (not!). Championship Millwall. Alas, they have 59 points! Luton. Unpleasant fans and unpleasant atmosphere when they are at HQ Not really bothered re the rest. Maybe Hull as they also consider themselves too big for the drop.
Villa, Norwich and Watford from the PL. Luton, Charlton and Reading from the Championship. But Reading are safe enough so bye bye Stoke.
Hopefully Bournemouth will stay in the Premier League. Villa - as has been echoed,..They are too big to go down hahahaha Narwich - have a feeling that they are planning to do a West Brom and bounce between divisions. West Ham.....I cannot stand the owners... From Championship....Hull City after their vote to end the league, Luton look doomed and last place between Reading or Stoke.
Stoke down so I can give it large to my stoke supporting mate They should enjoy a promotion season though Barnsley I want to stay up though for some reason
Hull, mainly due to the stupid attempt to change their playing name to Hull Tigers. I know it’s a while back but pops into my head every time they are mentioned. Luton as a poor mans Millwall (that’s saying something) Hope Warnock survives with Middlesbrough
If Villa and Watford go it would really make my year. Thinking pragmatically, losing a Stoke or Boro rather than Hull or Barnsley is good as the former are likely to strengthen next year while the latter will be in the dog fight again. I’d like Luton to stay up as it’s a local-ish game and far more interesting than the newer grounds. Looks unlikely though. Barnsley deserve to stay up for their approach on and off the pitch.
What I want.......Norwich, Villa and Spam...what I think Norwich, Bmouth and Villa What I want .....Luton, Hull, Birmingham....whayt I think...Luton, Barnsley and by default Wigan (saving Middlesborough)
I want the same as you Beth, Norwich, Villa and West Ham. Norwich because they were the first to demand a points deduction over the Faurlin transfer back in 2011 and also because the that 3-2 defeat back in 76. Villa and West Ham because they both contain Irish players who played all their underage football for Ireland and mysteriously, their agents advised them to switch countries. How many caps have you got so far for England Mr. Grealish and how many caps will you have at the end of your career Mr. Rice? I suggest both were badly advised and will finish their careers with less then 10 full caps each. Grealish would have almost certainally hit the half century mark if he had stayed with Ireland. I also think regretfully that Bournemouth will fall through the trap door this year even though they are a very well run small club with a fantastic Manager. I really hope they stay up. If they don't, Mr. Hoos, please go and get Eddie Howe to come to Loftus Road. In the Championship, I would love to see Luton relegated. I was at the cup game in the late eighties and seen all the trouble, stanley knifes getting used etc. I want Middlesborough to go down with them and I think they will too. I hope Barnsley stay up as they play a nice brand of football but I think they are doomed. Hull would be my third choice to go down because of the song they sang to our fans after 7/7 - you're just a town full of bombers when in fact the actual 7/7 bombers came from Yorkshire.
Premier....Norwich look doomed, villa and West ham would do just nicely.... Championship.....Luton, Boro, stoke
Exactly! Villa because it would be funny - Fair Play slauterhouse, Norwich because of 1976 and their finger problem. Watford because it is good for us demographically.
