Obviously I would say no, and I’d imagine most who voted Leave would say yes. However, the entire issue has gone way beyond logic now. I listened to LBC the other afternoon, and one caller rang in and said she’d rather die than us stay in the EU and another rang to say her business was going to bust due to Brexit but she’d vote Leave again anyway. There’s a segment who just don’t care whether it’s a good idea or not anymore, they just want OUT at seemingly any cost.
You know you’ve gone too far when Farage calls you a racist - who even knew that was possible? Gerard Batten - hold my beer.
Don't know if it involves Farage or not. He funded Brexit and some questioning by SKY i think led to him suggesting he would fund a new party on the back of the current two parties being a shambles in so many words.
Well he’s not wrong on that score, but I’d be interesting in hearing what he thought he was going to get out of it. At least he’s been upfront I suppose, Billionaires usually just stay offshore and take over newspapers to do their political bidding or more lately lob a few £M at ‘think tanks’.

I voted for this **** to be in the Politics thread. I would still vote for this **** to be in the Politics thread.
1. How did you vote in the referendum in 2016? Leave 2. How would you vote if the referendum was held again? Leave 3. Would people be happy with May's deal if the back stop was removed? I cant speak for people, personally think it's needed at the moment until negotiations progress on the actual leave deal. 4. If the EU refuse to remove the backstop is that not going against the will of the British people? **** all to do with the EU, it's up to the British Parliament to sort out in the playground (HoC). 5. What sort of deal would you like to see if it was an option ie Norway, Canada etc? Happy with Mays deal as a starting point. 6. What do people think of a referendum on a United Ireland? Fair to give them the choice but they would have to live with it and sort their own peace out if they united. 7. What party would you vote for if it went to another General Election? Tory, no chance I could/would vote for Labour while the fantasist is in charge.
Voted Leave: brb, Ginge, Bod, Diego Voted Remain: Hoops, Stan, Tobes Would Vote Leave: brb, Ginge, Bod, Diego Would Vote Remain: Hoops, Stan, Tobes Lab: Bod, Tobes Con: Diego Lib: Stan Swing voters: brb, Ginge, Hoops Basically nothing has changed and it would be a mess again
Remain If you mean going back in time remain. If you mean a second referendum I won't vote - believe in democracy but won't ever put a tick for leave Yes No - the EU aren't negotiating on what's good for UK -why would they? Happy with Mays deal A referendum on a United Ireland is the business of it's people and not an occupying force Green
I also never voted because of that. My big concern was the way we were lead like blind mice via the Maastricht & Lisbon treaty’s by self interested overblown idiots (Major & Blair) which condemned us to becoming a German federalist plaything. I was all for cutting the unelected wasteful bureaucrats loose because these officials run their own fiefdoms with little regard for democratic accountability.'
