Reports Suggest That Barca Are Interested in Bougherra

Could be hard to hold onto the big man come the summer time if Barca are still interested in him, if the right money is offered then it will be bye bye Bougy.

Weir should probably retire in the summer too and that would leave us needing some cover at the back when money is obviously very tight.

I see Steven Smith is looking to leave in the summer too to secure first team football.

He said in Decmber he wanted to leave, but could not leave in January due to the African cup plus he wanted to finish the season with Rangers.

Start of the season you'd have been devestated to losing him but with Wilson playing well its a good deal to reduce the debt as a replacement is already there in Wilson.

 

The summer is going to be huge for Rangers.

Weir possibly retiring, Bougherra possibly leaving and there's already Steven Smith saying he'll leave.

Then there's Davis who is playing awesome at the moment and Boyd who bangs in the goals. Keeping hold of our best players might be hard.

Is Broadfoots contract not up this summer too? He's not been offered a new deal as of yet, though I can't remember if its up this summer or next.

He's not a great player but can play anywhere across the back so is vital to a small squad like Rangers have.

 

He's not going to Barca, that's as rediculious as the Novo getting capped by Spain claims.
