After hearing the sad news that former England, Kent and Worcestershire bowler Graham Dilley had aged 52. Just wanted to say RIP. Hopefully his family will get over this terrible shock soon.

I remember skiving off school in 1981 to watch him and Botham batting at Headingley. A truly great player and top bloke.

"Lillee caught Willey bowled Dilley, That's Silly!" was the first thing I thought of when I heard the news, however he was much more than that.
    Very sad news indeed.
Thoughts go out to his family. <peacedove>

Lillie c Willey b Dilley 19, could write that dismissal. Not to mention him playing the quiet mans role at Headingley when batting with Ian Botham to win us that test match.
