Oh dear that is sad news :( RIP <rose>

Hard to put into words what he has done for racing. Just remembering some of the great horses that ran in his famous silks makes you realise how long he spent at the top table in flat racing. From Frankel, Kingman and Enable in recent years back through the likes of Workforce, Reams Of Verse, Zafonic, Quest For Fame, Commander In Chief right back to Rainbow Quest and the brilliant Dancing Brave. I've probably missed dozens more but what a legacy he leaves.

Sad news. So many superstars we have to thank him for. Dancing Brave, Known Fact, Warning, Oasis Dream, Dansili etc etc etc and not least Frankel, Enable and Kingman. I hope the green and pink silks will continue.

    RIP sir

This man has had the best of the best, hard to imagine where racing would be without him.

Sad news and a great loss to Racing. Apparently he began to cut back 2-3 years ago as none of his children were interested in keeping up his hobby. Now he's gone there's the chance Juddmonte will be no more in a year.

ok , it was a joke attempt , kind of odd how we all have to explain our likes of a post in case it’s misconstrued as abuse ......

Oh, I see. No, I liked all the tributes (I think) then realised that Bustino might think I would be glad to see the back of Juddmonte; so just thought I would clarify <cheers>

that’s the problem with a “ like “ , it can be taken either way subjectively , where objectively it means something else !!! especially when a post may mention a few things .........all very silly <laugh>

Yep, hence the clarification. Maybe do a reply to the likable bit and say "I like this bit" <laugh>

Looks as if I was too pessimistic and according to the CEO it's business as usual. I just hope that their overoptimistic UK Racing Manager has his enthusiasm curbed.
