He was our owner for a while some years back, when he bought the club off of ex-QPR chairman Jim Gregory for allegedly £1, but one good thing he did for us was build a new Fratton End stand in his first season at the club. My best memories of him were when he was England's manager at the 1996 Euros. I was fortunate to receive corporate seats at Wembley when England beat Scotland. Our seats were to the side looking down on the goal where Gazza scored that brilliant solo goal !!
In my opinion he was better than any manager we've had since he was "effectively" dismissed for non football related reasons. Stupid decision. He was replaced by a twat who thought magic might work . Can't wait for the current manager to **** off
