Huge result - means we still maintain a 5-point gap and have the game in hand. Spurs did us a favour. City weren't impressive at all and looked very vulnerable. Spurs could and should have won by more. I think we can beat them.
City assumed they'd walk all over us...can't see them making that mistake against you lot. Ain't saying they'll beat you but they'll take you more seriously.
They probably will take it more seriously, but I've not seen anything that makes me think we should be quaking in our boots to be playing them. Our home record this season is also extremely strong. They are beatable - as you guys, Man United, Liverpool and Brentford have already done this season. Maybe I'll end up with egg on my face for saying this, but I'm not afraid of them and think we can win at The Emirates.
Take care of supply to Haaland and you’re in. They have a target man this season yet they play as if he’s not there…
Nah, you should be able to do em! We should have beat them when we played them, were all over them, especially in the first half. If only we had someone capable of scoring, we'd have been 2 or 3 goals up by half time. City are mucho vulnerable this season, they are missing something. The way you guys have been playing, you definitely should be able to get a result.
Congratulations to Arsenal Women who beat Chelsea 3-1 in the Conti Cup Final (basically League Cup final) ending their 4-year trophy drought .
Read through what the journalists were saying about our prospects and their prospects earlier in the season. Hindsight is a wonderful thing, ey?
Huge congratulations to Arsenal Women for knocking out Bayern Munich and reaching the Champions League semi-finals What a month - winning the League Cup at the start of March against Chelsea (ending a 4-year trophy drought) and then ending March by getting to the Champions League semi-finals by KO'ing one of the best sides in Europe. The girls doing us proud
Talksport have been even worse. Start of the Season they were all ' Tottenham have won the transfer window;' now its all 'Spurs have recruited badly'.
Most of the media and pundits are really only out for clicks and eyeballs. Winding up Arsenal fans is great business because our fanbase is absolutely huge and very engaged. Talk Sport are especially playing this game, but it's not limited to them.
Interesting that Man City have won the treble but now half the squad looks set to leave. Cancelo is going for sure Walker looks set for Bayern Philips being linked to Liverpool Laporte looks likely to move Gundogan looks to have chosen Barca (shame) Bernardo Silva is being linked to Saudi.
Na its called a mistake. Aside from Haaland, you would have to say Silva and Gundo were their best players last Season. Can you imagine United doing the same with Giggs & Scholes, Chelsea with Terry and Lampard or Barcelona with Xavi, Puyol and Iniesta? City's ability to spend whatever they want and face no repercussions probably helps though. Still I hope they make a ton of changes, you guys arnt gonna challenge next year so it's gonna be down to us again.
That was last season, to keep a squad at the top you have to know when change is needed. You mention us, Fergie made decisions like this all the time which is why he lasted so long at the top (Wenger did the same but with less success).
Na Fergie stuck even with mediocre players like Butt, G Neville, Fletcher.. He always kept a core of players. Wenger only started selling key players because the Club had no money.
